"Leonidio is an attractive place for climbers and people who love the beach. It is also a great place for people who just look for a relaxing beautiful environment. The local people are VERY welcoming and warm. They will help you with anything you need. There are many options to walk in the area or take a short drive to the villages nearby. The smell of the orange and lemon trees is filling the air wherever you go. If you want to do some good you can volunteer to take stray dogs for a walk. The food is fresh and great and the cost is very reasonable. The narrow alleys are not easy to drive in but the local people have their way of dealing with that. They give a short honk at the beginning of each narrow road and the drivers are waiting for them to leave the alley so they can drive through it. This arrangement is so beautiful to see, they are so relaxed and kind to each other. The buildings are a mix of old and new but everything is SO CLEAN. There isn't a piece of paper on the ground. Make sure to have breakfast at the Kasseta bar and return later for a drink. Giannis is a the coolest kindest barman. Check out the metal artist I missed. Loved Leonidio so much.....if you didn't get it by now :-)"

"I visited at Christmas and the city was beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was family friendly. There were Christmas lights in every square and a craft market. The restaurants were fantastic and the people very friendly. I loved Saint Basil Holy Orthodox Church. There was snow on the mountains and it felt like Christmas without being too cold!"

"We visited in late April keen to walk the Lousios Gorge between Demitsana and Stemnitsa. We booked a B&B in Stemnitsa having visited the previous day. The walk was strenuous (good footwear, sticks could be helpful, take supplies) but knowing we were staying overnight in Stemnitsa B&B meant we had plenty of time. Beautiful flowers and bird life in the gorge as well as monasteries to visit. Lucky with weather, beautiful views and good clear pathway. The signposting for the walk is good. Ask directions at the Water Mill Museum as we added an additional hour taking the wrong direction. Stemnitsa is welcoming to visitors. Cafe on the square was really friendly helpful and served great coffee. Helped order a taxi back to Demitsana the following morning. Enjoyed an evening meal in local restaurant with helpful staff and busy atmosphere. Lovely town centre to explore and as the season progresses more shops/restaurants will open."

"Finally, this is the day when we got to Kxiropigado! It was early morning. We easily found Ksenia’s house, she very well pointed out in the photo how to find it! We were met by the owner of the magical apartment - Ksenya. We understood that the apartment was like that We just entered it! the furnishings fully corresponded to the description without embellishment, so I will not describe everything that is there, EVERYTHING is there!!!!!!!! Everything to make us feel at home. Breakfast was waiting for us in the refrigerator, which Ksenia had carefully left for us. We arrived with our beloved little dog Gucci. Ksenia took care of her too, a bowl and a toy were waiting for her! She received gifts very often!) the biggest The view of the sea left an impression in our memory. Going out onto the veranda (which also has everything for relaxation) you can see in the distance the old city of the first capital of Greece, Naphlion. In the mornings you can hear the voices of birds and the sound of the sea, it’s super! And in the evening we enjoyed the silence with numerous lights , which were visible in the distance and the bottomless starry sky! the sea is a few steps away, there on the beach Ksenia placed sun loungers and a large umbrella. Every day we enjoyed the sun and sea. And what sunrises there are! they cannot be forgotten, just as care cannot be forgotten, with whom Ksenia surrounded us! She thought out everything down to the smallest detail, so that while relaxing we didn’t have to think about anything! We didn’t have to think about where to park the car since there was a parking space! We just enjoyed our vacation! And this is partly thanks to Ksenia! Thank you so much! We had a wonderful time and will definitely return to this heavenly place! A place you want to return to!!!!!! Thank you!"

Sophia was the kindest person we have met on holiday and made sure our stay in this fantastic hotel was the best. It's only 2 star because the bathrooms are slightly dated. The immaculate rooms are a great size and the view from the large balcony over the bay/harbour is unbeatable. Tyros village must be the friendliest in Greece. The restaurant next to the hotel serves very good and authentic Greek food. But the main reason for scoring Kamvissis hotel so highly is the genuine warmth and kindness of Sophia the manager. Highly recommended

This is a five star quality hotel. It oozes quality , comfort and awesomeness. It's the only place to stay at the end of the Menalon trail. Fantastic and very helpful front desk man, great food and staff, and very very clean. The owners get it.... Big bathroom, big shower, good heating that you can adjust to suit your needs. the small details like slippers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐➕ Bravo 👌.
