Loved Tyros. The moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by this lovely lady who made us feel right at home. She even told us we could check-out until 5pm the next day. The view is beautiful from the room and the room itself super modern. Loved the art work on the walls. The location was quite. The only place open was this small restaurant run by a couple, which produced some amazing food. Recommend totally.

I spent two nights during my business trip and I don't regret any minute I stayed. Owners are super kind and friendly, even though hey don't speak much english, they try to make your stay as comfortable as possible and try to satisfy you in every possible aspect. Breakfast was outstanding , served in front of the hotel with very nice views. The only problem is that I wished I could stay there for more days for a vacation to enjoy the cosy room and hospitality.

We liked absolutely everything about Houdis House. It's like a paradise oasis. The beautiful garden, amazing swimming pool, it's location (literally 3-5min to the clean shallow beach), and some 10-15min walk to a super cute coastal town of Paralio Astros with a great variety of tavernas, bars, restaurants, as well as local supermarkets and 2 bakeries! The hostess of Houdis Houses, Magdalena, is very kind, attentive and friendly person who takes an amazing care of her holiday place. The guests are very nice, too and everyone looked super happy and relaxed. The area is full of amazing historic sites, so we kept exploring the area every day and we were very impressed by its beauty.

It's like a paradise in the centre of Leonidio. The courtesy of the staff, the elegant decoration at every point of the mansion, the hygiene in the rooms, the quality of the equipment used was great. The pool was clean, the sunbeds were comfortable and the hours we spent in the pool were very enjoyable. There was a variety for every preference at breakfast. In addition, everything was very fresh and delicious. After check out, while waiting for the bus time, they allowed us to use the facilities of the mansion and offered us refreshments.

The setting is spectacular, view of the little harbor and the sea in one direction and the mountains leading to Leonidio in the other. When you're up early you see some fishing boats returning. Quiet and lovely. The staff went out of their way to make pretty good breakfast (if you like greek yoghurt, omelette with feta, freshly pressed juice and greek coffee...).

Dimitsana is an old, picturesque village with a beautifully preserved charm. Coming from the city and being used to busier places, I found it very peaceful and quiet. There isn’t a lot to do, but they've organised a cute village centre. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway, and there’s also a lovely hiking route nearby for those who enjoy exploring nature. Something to keep in mind is the fact that google can fail you in terms of information on which restaurants or other establishments are open and at what times, but when in doubt, you can always ask the welcoming locals.

The village was great, we had some wonderful food there at very reasonable prices. This village is nestled in the mountains, amazing views everywhere. The only drawback was no pharmacy, we had to drive to another village about 8km away. Not a big deal. The people were very nice and helpful as is the Greek tradition.

the church of saint basilica in the town Centre is absolutely amazing to see. The cafe and night life scene is fantastic. The people everywhere were friendly. The food options for 5 star and very cost effective. The centre gate way to base yourself for everything in the Peloponese, making wherever you want to go less than 1.5 hours. Tripolis the centre of Arcadian history. Sparta 35min drive, kalamata 40min, amazing archeological sites everywhere. In Tripolis everyone is treated as a local not a tourist. Best of all you MUST go to the ancient village of ALEA TEGEA one of greeces best kept secrets, authentic museums and temple of Athena. It's only a short drive there from Tripolis - 10mins and get in touch with real authentic Arcadian culture and history.

Lagadia was the final destination of the Menalon Trail. It is a delightful stone village set into the cliff. Locals seem a bit gruff, which is sad because along the trail we received so much good will and hospitality. It seemed to be a popular place for Greeks eating out on Sunday

Good selection of tavernas and coffee shops. The castle and area around it is well worth visiting. Long beach with an option of sunbeds or space for your own beach chairs and umbrella. Wet lands a short drive from the town. Plenty of mountain villages to explore if you have a car. In addition, Nafplio is just 45 minutes away by car.

Charming little village with beautiful stone houses, near the upper end of the Lousios gorge. The main street has taverna and cafes, small shops, even a post office and an ATM. Good base for exploring the region.

A very pretty town, spectacularly located in the mountains.

A very pretty town, spectacularly located in the mountains. The main square has several opportunties for refreshments and food served under the shade of ancient trees. It's super quiet and the air is fresh and clean. A creat base for a hiking holiday. Getting here involves driving up smaller, but still excellent roads that hug the sides of mountains. The views as you ascend are often breathtaking. Stemnitsa is also a very refreshing change of pace from the coastal towns, which are also fantastic, but which have a very different character. Stemnitsa is a mountain town, surrounded by trees and other lush vegetation. The air is fresher and cooler (though it still gets warm in the summer).
