Great Host and awesome place with a perfect view. Christos is a very great host. He was always available and gave us a very warm welcome. Sharing some travel stories and recommendations about hiking, exploring the area and the best restaurant in the village. Also the apartment was perfect! Very comfi, clean and enough space. Sitting on the terrace and enjoying our lives:). We definitely are coming back!

Beautiful setting, very relax, friendly people who manage the hotel. Staff is always available. The deck for swimming in the sea not far from the pool is a nice extra. Breakfast is more than enough with all the greek ingredients like a salad, fresh orange juice, yoghurt, cake and naturally cheeses, bread, etc. The restaurants within walking distance serve good food. Ideal stopover for a couple of nights. Leonidio is only a 6 km away with all the necessary shops if needed. We went early june and there were few tourists. Ideal,for us… .

The setting is spectacular, view of the little harbor and the sea in one direction and the mountains leading to Leonidio in the other. When you're up early you see some fishing boats returning. Quiet and lovely. The staff went out of their way to make pretty good breakfast (if you like greek yoghurt, omelette with feta, freshly pressed juice and greek coffee...).

Xiropigado is small quiet village. Ancient places, Epidaurus, Mycenae, Mystras etc. as well as nice town Nafplio are not so far from this place (in a circle about 40 - 50 km, Nafplio 10 km). Hotel Sunset is nice, quiet hotel. The best thing about Xiropigado and hotel Sunset is that there is no crowd. Hotel and restaurant are 10 meters from the sea.

Dimitsana is an old, picturesque village with a beautifully preserved charm. Coming from the city and being used to busier places, I found it very peaceful and quiet. There isn’t a lot to do, but they've organised a cute village centre. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway, and there’s also a lovely hiking route nearby for those who enjoy exploring nature. Something to keep in mind is the fact that google can fail you in terms of information on which restaurants or other establishments are open and at what times, but when in doubt, you can always ask the welcoming locals.

the church of saint basilica in the town Centre is absolutely amazing to see. The cafe and night life scene is fantastic. The people everywhere were friendly. The food options for 5 star and very cost effective. The centre gate way to base yourself for everything in the Peloponese, making wherever you want to go less than 1.5 hours. Tripolis the centre of Arcadian history. Sparta 35min drive, kalamata 40min, amazing archeological sites everywhere. In Tripolis everyone is treated as a local not a tourist. Best of all you MUST go to the ancient village of ALEA TEGEA one of greeces best kept secrets, authentic museums and temple of Athena. It's only a short drive there from Tripolis - 10mins and get in touch with real authentic Arcadian culture and history.

The village was great, we had some wonderful food there at...

The village was great, we had some wonderful food there at very reasonable prices. This village is nestled in the mountains, amazing views everywhere. The only drawback was no pharmacy, we had to drive to another village about 8km away. Not a big deal. The people were very nice and helpful as is the Greek tradition.

Lagadia was the final destination of the Menalon Trail.

Lagadia was the final destination of the Menalon Trail. It is a delightful stone village set into the cliff. Locals seem a bit gruff, which is sad because along the trail we received so much good will and hospitality. It seemed to be a popular place for Greeks eating out on Sunday

Charming little village with beautiful stone houses, near the upper end of the Lousios gorge. The main street has taverna and cafes, small shops, even a post office and an ATM. Good base for exploring the region.

Only spent a night as part of a longer trip.

Only spent a night as part of a longer trip. Was not expecting much, but the town was much, but Tripoli was quite charming. Had a fantastic dinner at a cozy, fun restaurant, and could have spent more time exploring the town, shops, and bars. It was a nice surprise, worth checking it out again.

A wonderful location, though some of the residents might not be the sharpest. The area offers a plethora of delicious yet affordable food choices. The blend of mountains and sea gives this place a unique charm. Make sure to sample all dishes featuring eggplants.

A very pretty town, spectacularly located in the mountains.

A very pretty town, spectacularly located in the mountains. The main square has several opportunties for refreshments and food served under the shade of ancient trees. It's super quiet and the air is fresh and clean. A creat base for a hiking holiday. Getting here involves driving up smaller, but still excellent roads that hug the sides of mountains. The views as you ascend are often breathtaking. Stemnitsa is also a very refreshing change of pace from the coastal towns, which are also fantastic, but which have a very different character. Stemnitsa is a mountain town, surrounded by trees and other lush vegetation. The air is fresher and cooler (though it still gets warm in the summer).
