The place is beautiful, not just for the garden (which is gorgeous), but also for the wonderful taste in decoration, the peace, the coziness and the kindness of Manolis, that really made us feel at home. We stayed at the Pilot Amphora Boutique Hotel for 10 days. The hotel, the service, the staff - everything was exceptional. We received a bottle of champagne and fruits on arrival, which was a lovely touch. There was also a surprise birthday cake delivered to our room during the trip. Again, great service and attention to detail. The rooms are spacious (we stayed in an indulge room - and we had plenty of space. The rooms were cleaned daily, with new fresh towels etc. We had half board (including breakfast and dinner) which was amazing value for money as you get such a wide choice of options for breakfast. The dinners are exceptional (very big portions also) - be sure to keep yourself hungry each night! The staff were the best bit - so friendly and accommodating. The service couldn’t have been better - we would absolutely recommend this hotel. Thank you specifically to Paulos and Vasilis - it was a pleasure. We also visited the sister hotel (Pilot Beach Resort) for the Lobster night - and we were chauffeured across by the hotel teams. There are various local restaurants and supermarkets in the quiet neighbourhood also (Nostos and Mythos were local recommendations). There are also excursions from Georgioupolis for day trips - all fairly convenient if you don’t drive / have a car. We would love to come back! Thanks for everything to the team.

This establishment is an exceptional example of high end modern living, yet very close to all the simple things that make the Greek summer a unique experience for all Greek and International tourists. The sea, the seafood, the slow life and warm hospitality and most of all the sun, the dramatic landscape and evening colors. The quality of all facilities is as good as it gets and the establishment stands out in this small seaside village close to Chania. The hospitality of all staff and especially Maria is wonderful. Sleeping was great and the breakfast is very rich and focused on the local ingredients and delicacies. If this is within your budget, do not think twice.

The heated pool was a bonus, as the weather was cold during our stay. Good breakfast choices. The rooftop restaurant was exceptional. Food was amazing & the portion size was generous. Really good local choices. Friendly and helpful staff. No on site parking but parking is free outside. Beach is just over the road.

We chose Anemos for our honeymoon and were not disappointed! It's absolute five star quality and worth every penny. We were so looked after. We did half board and massively enjoyed the breakfast and evening buffets. We also opted for two days full board which was great to experience too. Overall an amazing ten days, thank you!

Lovely village with everything you may need to have a great holiday. Bakery,chemist ,local shops ,few tavernas and of course kafenion where locals meet.Very nice people ,authentic Greek village.Quite and relaxing.Parasia the best taverna in the area.Must be book in advance always full,very good food and very friendly staff.Lots of nice walk around the village.

The village of Vamos, just a bit isolated from the main...

The village of Vamos, just a bit isolated from the main route, provides perfect place for a relaxed getaway. Being quiet place, at the same time provides for all your needs - with it's local shop, great bakery, petrol station and at least 4 nice places to eat, with Τα Πλατάνια barbecue being our favourite, serving very simple and limited choice, yet delicious local food. Despite some ilolation, there's still just few kilometers to the main national road, making Vamos excellent starting point for local trips, like Samaria or Imbros gorges, lovely beaches nearby, Chania or Rethimno

We loved everything! The location, the view, the area with the local restaurants and the lovely welcome and helpful tips we got from the owners. It felt like we stepped into a movie for a while- the stone and the AC helped with the temperatures and there were so many places where you could just sit down and enjoy your holiday!

Peaceful location, many spring flowers. Our hosts were warm and welcoming - presents of herbs and lemons from garden!. Apartment was comfortable, with pleasant seating and views of mountains. Village shops and cafes were within 15 minutes walk. Beaches and interesting places were a short drive.
