An easy and scenic walk along the beach front to the township taking only 5mins and passing the best ice cream place in Korcula, Marco handmade icream. I have seen much of Europe and Croatia. On this trip I was in Spain, Lloret de Mar, in Italy, Genua and in the north of Croatia, Medulin. Korčula must be the new in-spot in Europe. Compare to the other places it is exceptionally clean and the quality of restaurants is great. It is not a "cheap" destination like Malorca in Spain or Lignano in Italy but a more classy place. I think that is good because it keeps away the "buy one beer and get the second for free" kind of people. The yachts in the harbor and the crystal clear water are fantastic. It is definitely the place to be in the Adriatic - I booked already for next year!
Very nice little town surrounded by sea. We thought we might have three nights and two days there but bad weather meant we tried to leave after one night but the boat could not go so we had to spend a whole day in our room! In good weather we would have enjoyed a swim in any of the spots nearby and to just sit by the sea in one of the many restaurants around the sea edge of the town.
A charming island full of pine forests ad little coves. Plenty to see in the town and to explore around the island. I only spent 2 days here; but spend one day exploring the old town and a glorious day cycling along the coast (to Racisce and then to Lumbarda) Tourist Info office very helpful (Miliana) and suggested to visit St Mark's cathedral, Bell Tower, Museum and Marco Polo experience. Didn't have time to visit the vineyards; but did mange to sample the local wine - which is very good. Bike Hire also good suggestions (Dorian at Titan) on good and safe routes. Restaurant with good food, best view and prices in town is the big one up the hill attached to Tommy supermarket.
Korcula is completely charming, with lots of great restaurants and a beautiful old city. Take a trip to Lumbarda to visit the wineries and Sandy beaches, and spend time strolling around the Old Town to soak up the atmosphere. The sword dance is also a must
The island itself is great. Great beaches If you are happy to travel on some unmade roads. Water is the clearest I’ve ever seen, locals are really friendly. The only downside is the cost of eating out which is very high especially in Korcula old town.
Korcula is a beatiful Island with a variety of things to do. I would recommend Bacve Beach, Atrij restaurant, Adio Mare restaurant, if possible rent a boat and go to Lovista on Peljesac, Podobuce, visit Lastovo. People are very friendly and I will most certainly come back.
A fabulous stay in a great hotel, which we were told was due to be re-developed later this year. This does show through in areas but does not detract from the friendliest of places to stay. Special mention goes to Ana on reception, who has a calmness, kindness and an efficiency, which is mind-boggling at times! And all of this against a welcome from all of the staff, which we adored. Location is fabulous and we can not recommend Korcula Town highly enough.
Korčula
Our hosts fetched us with the car to show us the way and ensure that went smoothly, also they have a parking spot. On top of that Marina and Sasha welcomed us with a platter of cheese and ham, wine, olives, bread... And recommended places to eat. Overall the place is great, I can't think of any negatives. It is a 3 minute walk from the city center but you also get a great view of it. If you come to Korcula this is a great place to stay at!
Korčula
Fabulous location, right in the heart of Korčula Old town, overlooking the island of Pelješac. Clean and comfortable room, excellent fit for single travelers or a couple. Welcome coffee and tea in the room are those small details that make a difference. Kind and helpful host. Even thought the room was located above a restaurant the noise was not a disturbing one and with window closed it was all about enjoying the view.
Korčula
I can't recommend Maria's place enough! Excellent value for money, right in the heart of Korcula, very clean and has everything you need. Loved having a refrigerator in the room to keep drinks cold, there is also a microwave which was handy when I wanted to eat my leftover pizza. Maria is an incredible host, she even made me coffee after I checked out, after I told her that my ferry got cancelled.
We got upgraded on arrival to a Melion suite which was a nice suprise. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing trip. Also there are taxi boats which operate frequently throughout the day/night taking you to Korcula old town from the hotel and back for 15 kuna per person each way. Breakfast was also really with good plenty of choice for everyone.

The room was clean and spacious and the sea view exceeded my expectations. The staff was eager to help with making arrangements for a wine tasting and restaurants. Suite 112 😃👍 We had dinner at the hotel and it was probably the best on the island.
