HungaryWe stayed in three spacious ground floor rooms, all next to each other, with comfortable beds and air conditioning. The breakfast area was on the same level, which was very convenient. The staff, especially the receptionist and the breakfast team, were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and varied – we particularly enjoyed the cottage cheese and apple strudels. Everything was great, and we would be happy to return in the future.

The house is located in a quiet and peaceful countryside, so if you're tired of the city noise, I recommend it. The hosts are very kind. The welcome treats they provide deserve special praise. I've never experienced such a pleasant surprise anywhere else.

Fascinating town with interesting church and playground in the centre. I highly recommend staying at Apartment OrMarić – lovely and clean accommodation. After that, you must visit Bistro Ribič for food - they make the best trout I ever have!

A nice little town for one or two not too long walks,...
A nice little town for one or two not too long walks, including climbing to not high hill with ruins of old fortress or a bit longer walk along the Gacka River at the edge of town with a lot of birds in the water or on the banks. The Gacka River museum that is supposed to be interesting is closed because of reconstruction that, according to local people, probably won't finish before the end of 2008. More interesting places are nearby, from several springs of Gacka with small lakes, mills and a fish farm; a Velebit mountain museus and the forestry museum in neighbour house are situated in village Krasno from where the roads lead to National park (including hiking tracks, bothanic garden etc) and for adventurous souls an adrenaline park with a very long zip-line. People ready for a bit longer drive (within an hour) can reach old coast town Senj, Tesla memorial centre in his birthplace Smiljan, the capital of Lika county Gospić with its big (and open...) museum, National park Plitvice lakes - one of most famous places in Croatia, and Cerovačke spilje, two beautiful caves on one location.

If you are looking for beautiful valley scenery and as a base for Plitvice and Velebit then it is ideal. The area is good value for money and Otocac itself has a good choice of grocery stores, bars and bakeries. The restaurant choice is a bit limited, with most places doing a very similar menu, so for longer stays this could be an issue.

Otočac is a beautiful small town in the valley of the Gacka...
Otočac is a beautiful small town in the valley of the Gacka river that offers excellent opportunities for a good vacation. The beautiful scenery of the river Gacka, its springs, the possibility of walking and jogging in nature or hiking in the nearby National Park North Velebit, are good reasons to come to this beautiful town in Lika.
And if you find yourself in Otočac, be sure to stop by the pizzeria Ruspante in Sinac, in the immediate vicinity of the picturesque Majerovo Vrel. There you will try one of the best pizzas in Croatia.

The apartment is in excellent condition and offers all necessary amenities, including a parking space. It is move-in ready and provides a comfortable and homely atmosphere, unlike a typical holiday apartment. My family felt secure and at ease during their stay. The apartment is situated in a picturesque location surrounded by trees. The hosts, who reside above the apartment, are exceptionally amiable and welcoming. I truly recommend it.

We only stayed for one night, but had a really great experience. The apartment is fully equipped, and you can tell the hosts put a lot of care into the details. The location is great, there's parking right in front, it was very quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Self check-in was available - we absolutely loved it, and the main reason why we booked this apartment. We'd happily recommend it.

The entire house is perfect. From the cleanliness, the view from the veranda, the spaciousness of the house, the parking, the amazing and big barbecue fireplace everything was just on point.
Nature is amazing, especially the bear hospital nearby, and the offer of nearby local produce.
I never wanted to leave.
