Great location with a private pier to relax on. I spent hours drinking coffee and reading by the sea. Comfortable and well apportioned room. Family were wonderfully welcoming and helpful.

A great holiday apartment to stay, owner family is super friendly and helpful. Apartment itself has all you need plus great view on the sea. Especially, the location is very nice - it is at the end of town, which means it gets the longest daylight and you can watch the sunset. The apartment has also a nice quay in front for swimming and laying in the sun in actually incredible nature surrounding.

Fantastic stay! The staff were extremely warm and welcoming. The Villa was charming, spotless and very peaceful with a lovely garden and large terrace with shade. The place was a very short walk to the beach. The drive there was unexpectedly adventurous on a narrow windy cliff road with gorgeous views. We had booked four rooms as we were travelling with a large group of extended family (including two dogs) - the villa owners were very accommodating. There was a lovely dirt path behind the property that was great for a run/walk. 30min drive to lots of great restaurants although the villa also has good food on site.

The hosts were very kind and the accommodation was neat and clean. The apartment is located in a very quiet place with a beautiful view of the forest and the sea. The only thing you will hear when you wake up in the morning are the birds, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed :)

I have stayed in Adio Mare with my sister and we loved it. The apartment is spacious, traditional style and has everything you need for a stay in beautiful Island of Mljet . This apartment has great terrace and stunning direct sea view . It’s great central location , with a restaurants just few steps ahead .

Beautiful room with everything you need, extremely tidy and clean and the hosts are super caring and welcoming! I couldn't recommend more having the dinner they offer with vegetables from the garden and fish from the day, the most tasteful I had in any of the islands!

There isn’t a lot going on in polace but a good place to...

There isn’t a lot going on in polace but a good place to have as a base for the national park. It’s very quiet and peaceful with a handful of restaurants which were fully booked and very expensive apart from one we found right next to where we were staying. It was set back from the edge of the sea and had Astro turf where the small amount of table and chairs were. Very reasonably priced with a good choice and nice friendly owners. There is also a small supermarket, bakery, ATM machine, 2 bike hire places and a kiosk to buy tickets to the national park and an information centre. It is an old port with some historical buildings but If you’re looking for a more modern vibrant place then pomena would be the better choice.

Nice place, however I prefer other places like Saplunara for instance cause it is not so crowded. Great hosts in apartements Angelo, perfect food in local restaurants, Gundulište and Stella Maris. Easy to approach Veliko and Malo jezero. Great massage in Pomena. I have to take my car to the mechanic. There was a great one, Ivan from Babino polje, half an hour away from Polače. Ane from the restaurant Ante's place in Saplunara made us a day when pampering us with her food and hospitality.

The location is great, in a quiet place, yet there are shops...

The location is great, in a quiet place, yet there are shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. In the village it is possible to rent bicycles (electric and regular) and use them to tour the nearby national park.

Beautiful quiet and small town on a fairly small island.

Beautiful quiet and small town on a fairly small island. The town had a few activities to do from bikes to SUP to kayaking and of course hiking through the very beautiful Mljet National Park. Beaches are of course rocky like in most of Dalmatia. The town will take no time to walk through, and getting around the rest of the island isn't easy unless by car (taxi or your own) -- but for the NP that's no issue as it's reachable within 15 minutes and doesn't allow cars for the most part.

We visited other places in Mljet, but Polače is the most beautiful place to stay. The see is calm, since it is not on the open see, very friendly domestic people.Good restaurants and stores, NP MLjet near by.

Polače is lovely small village just in the heart of Mljet...

Polače is lovely small village just in the heart of Mljet National Park. We enjoyed local bakery, dinner at Konoba Gunduliste and the nature all around. It is great starting point to exploring NP but also just for relaxing beach day. If you like quiet and peace places for your holiday, Polače is definitely good choice for you :).

Apartment was absolutely great. We had a terras and amezing view. aspecialy the lounce oudside. There was a small kitchen with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and big. The village was small and quite, really good if you want to come at peace and take some rest on the vacation + national park is a must see and is walkable from the apartment. Our host was absolutely amazing, they where really nice and the communication was quick. Very friendly! We would totally recommend this apartment if you want to stay in mljet polace!

As soon as we arrived we got welcomed by Sandra which accepted to hold our luggage even if the apartment wasn't ready yet. When the apartment was ready she showed us around and gave us some tips on moving on the island. We also got a complimentary bottle of local wine. The apartement is amazing with a big balcony looking over the sea of Polace. One of the rooms and the living room are connected to this balcony. After the checkout the owner accepted to keep our luggage until we left by ferry in the evening. Thank you!

What a wonderful stay! My friend and me had the best time at Villa Lucija! We were looking for an accomadion with a personal touch and this is exactly what we got! Lucija and her mother are honesy, hard-working people and really did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They were always open for a nice chat about the island, Croatia and even life itself :-)

The location was wonderful. Host was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. For people who is looking for peace and intact nature, Soline is the best place on Mljet Island, from where everything is close by the car.

Beautiful view from balcony. Could rent 2 good bicycles from owners at less than half the price of rental companies. Hosts also have a restaurant downstairs, with the most reasonable prices in Polače.
