Offering a private pool, Guesthouse Dragan's Den is located in Korčula and includes air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi access. The property is 3 km away from Old Town Korčula. The host, Dragan, made the experience twice as good. Very friendly, communicative and accommodating. Didn’t realize I booked a “tent” stay but he made it work and ensured I had a bed which was quite a challenge as the room availability on the island was very scarce. This was my first hostel stay and I really enjoyed my experience, hanging out with other guests and Dragan. He was so accommodating, not just to myself, but also other guests, offering rides into town and ensuring everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of, which was a tall order considering the number of people that would show up on the daily basis looking for a room. Would highly recommend!!!

We very much enjoyed our 3 days/2 nights on Korcula. It was a relief after the crowded chaos of Dubrovnik. On the day we arrived, I rented a bicycle for 24 hours and was able to explore some of the south coast on the first afternoon and then headed toward Lumbarda the next morning, before returning the bike and taking a "winery tour" that explored much of the island. Because the weather was cool, we didn't go kayaking or explore beaches, but that might be fun on another visit. We had a lovely dinner at an Agrotourism restaurant called Konoba Maha. We weren't able to arrive by ferry because of high seas, but returned to Dubrovnik via the TP Ferry. It was very comfortable and within walking distance to the main bus station with a shuttle to the Dubrovnik airport.
Korcula Old Town is relatively small and can be explored in a day. For anyone with mobility problems, rather than climb the old town steps, head over to the far right of the battlement and there is a path with gradual incline. You can walk around the outside of the Old Town walls, which is reasonable flat - but to explore the Old Town itself, be prepared for lots of steps. For anyone staying longer than a couple of days, you might want to plan exploring further afield (ie hire car, bus or excursion), something we should have accounted for! Pub Norse is a great place to eat - burgers and a huge selection of beers. Silk has lovely oriental food. Pepper & Coco has an array of foods and ice cream, combined with a setting ideal to watch the world go by. Enjoy!!
So beautiful. We visited late October / early November. We kayaked, biked, swam, boated, walked, beached. It is a great island for those wishing to be active. My wife and I brought our five kids with us (11-19) and everyone enjoyed it here. The pace is relaxed, there is beautiful landscape, charming architecture, kind people. We got around on foot or with public transit. There is an app for the bus schedules and to purchase tickets on your phone.
It's a real gem, beautiful historical town. Every building is worth looking at, and the centre is excellently preserved. I was there shortly, for business, and didn't see much, but what I did see, made me wish to come back for holiday. And I certainly shall come back. It was a bit weird not to be able to get a breakfast at 9 am, but that's Dalmatia, very easy-going. ;)
A very picturesque island. One of the best we visited. Great atmosphere, architecture and scenery. Would highly recommend this island and the accommodation. We had a fabulous roomy apartment, well appointed and an extremely helpful and personable host.
Korcula is beautiful and quiet. We made the mistake of coming here during off-season, though — no sword dance and most of the bars/restaurants closed early or weren’t open. It is absolutely stunning, though.
Korčula
The AMAZING view! Normally, I do not write reviews that often. And when I do, it's usually also because an owner asked me to. The owner did not ask, but I just felt this stay was so great that I definitely had to leave a 10! In fact, before coming to this place, I was very lucky to have gotten a €500/night suite in an upscale hotel in Dubrovnik (as an upgrade, way out of my budget!), and this €75/night room brought me even more joy than that! Amazing, really! :)

Book this place immediately! 10/10 on everything. Beautiful and spacious apartment that’s very well appointed with an AMAZING view! Marina and her husband Sasha were the nicest hosts - they were so helpful and generous. They even left us a spread of delicious snacks and wine when we arrived, after picking us up from the ferry. Must stay at Apartment Marina if you go to Korčula - cannot recommend highly enough!
Incredible place to spend my time on Korčula, the location was perfect within walking distance to the old town, beaches and bike rental to explore other parts of the island. The view across the harbour is amazing and always felt safe and comfortable. It’s the perfect size room, very clean and has a great kitchen that’s got everything you need.

This apartment is out of the centre of Korcula but only a short walk from the old city and all the sights. The host welcomed me and I settled in easily. The apartment is well equipped, clean, quiet, and comfortable, with good wifi. A major supermarket is 3 minutes away, with all you need. What more could one ask?
Beautiful location, set beachfront on what one taxi driver described as Korcula's best bay. Wonderful staff too - always helpful and friendly. The food wasn't cheap but it was well worth the money. Korcula island is a gem and I'm so happy with our choice of hotel - a really relaxing stay.

The hotel is right on the promenade, so very close to all the restaurants. Beautiful view onto the sea! a small beach is 5min walk from the hotel or you can just go for a swim right on the rocks below the hotel. :-)
Great hotel for the price in May. We enjoyed the facilities, got great massages, the breakfast had a wide selection. Great views of the water and the old town. The staff was also very helpful and nice.

Charming and fully furnished apartment. Don't seek for something else, I know many of 3* hotels who doesn't provide this quality of service. Thank you, it was a pleasure to stay at your place.
