I liked the fact that we had a separate bedroom and the living room with sofa and kitchen just for us, after a lot of small rooms in another locations. Everything was clean and the terrace is great for having dinner at the sunset. The garden is AMAZING! It is like visiting your grandma in the countryside! The way to reach the Airbnb passes through the salt pans of Ston and it is gorgeous! I strongly recommend the walk through the second largest wall in the world after the Chinese Wall: you should start in Mali Ston and go to Ston, visit Ston and walk back.

Our stay at the apartment in Ston was fantastic. The location is perfect—right by the sea and close to everything. Ston is truly a beautiful Croatian gem. We did have a brief internet issue, but Bruno, our excellent host, quickly provided a hotspot so my wife could share her holiday photos and keep in touch with her secret lovers :) and family. His quick response showed real hospitality. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here and enjoying charming Ston with great hosts like Bruno.

Very cute small apartment with lots of character. We booked it an hour (!) before arriving and had a smooth checkin nonetheless. I loved the smell of the white jasmin in the garden and having a morning coffee on the roof terrace with amazing view over the old town. Since it’s an old town, parking directly at the location is not possible, but it was only a few mins walk and smoothly arranged from the host.

We loved Ston!

We loved Ston! The little town and the wall walk were awesome. We loved our location and the restaurant was delicious! Our room was very good. All the people in the town that we met were wonderful and many people helped us out when our car broke down. We had a great time!

Ston was an interesting place to break up the trip from...

Ston was an interesting place to break up the trip from Split to Dubrovnick. It was a disappointment as far as the oysters were concerned, being the oyster center for Croatia. They were just extremely expensive and there were no deals to enjoy them at a decent price. If we had more time we would have gone to an island instead...

We really enjoyed our time in Ston, it is nice and small, yet full of amazing history and things to do. The hike up the wall of Ston to Mali Ston was great and not too difficult. Beautiful sights from the top!

I incorrectly mentioned that it was an old Bari, when, in fact, I meant mali Ston was in a nice quiet section of mali ston definitely would visit again, and Marita was an amazing hostess, couldn’t say enough about her and the accommodations excellent

Historic town with impressive (and impressively long) walls.

Historic town with impressive (and impressively long) walls. Ston is a much smaller, calmer, quieter, and more authentic version of many of the overly touristy walled old towns along the coast. Large sections are still not renovated however. The town has a few shops but mostly cafes/restaurants and locals housing. Lacks the luxury shops and glitz of Dubrovnik but also the crowds. A bit overpriced to walk the walls but presumably the entry fee helps with further repairs and restoration. The (still) working salt flats are interesting and they have opportunities to join in the harvesting. The city parking lots outside the walls are all paid which seems shortsighted and silly if they really want to bring in tourism.

history, great local wine and food, clear blue sea and no crowds; vacation as it should be :) the area is famous for oysters and mussels and many restaurants serve them from their own farms; not to be missed; the hike over the city walls (connecting Ston and Mali Ston) offers great views over the area, oyster farms, salt panes and isles...on both sides of the wall hike are very nice restaurants offer freshest sea food and light, local wine - just what you need on a hot day

The hosts were lovely, upon arriving we received a warm welcome and a bowl of cherries. They let us borrow bikes to ride into Ston, and were always happy to chat or help us with anything. The location was beautiful, quiet and a great place to swim. A short ride to Ston where you can climb the old city wall or have a nice dinner out.

We had a lovely stay! The apartment was small, but just the right size for us. It was new, very clean, cozy, and had a big, comfortable bed. The host was friendly and communication was excellent. If we had planned to stay in Ston longer, we would definitely have extended our stay here. Highly recommended!

Close to Ston, beaches and vineries this comfortable apartment (equipped with everything) has nice dinning and living room, small terrace and parking, separate part with 3 bedrooms devided by door from the kitchen, living and dining room.

Ston is a really small Town, so the locations is excelent, infront a Süpermarket and close to the wall, however you can stay at any place of ston and it will be the same. The landlord was really nice and attentive to our messages.
