Very nice apartment in a lovely small coastal village! We loved everything about this apartment and had four fantastic days and were very well taken care of by the host's mum who seems to run the show. Well equipped kitchen, effective AC, great location and a short-ish walk to the beautiful Žitna beach. Be aware that Zavalatica is small, with only two restaurants and one shop, but for a quiet vacation, we loved it! Things I think are not clear in the description: parking is great, which is important in a village like this. Also, the house has a private area by the ocean, with 8 sun beds and a shaded table and its own ladder into the ocean (for once, no swimming shoes required, this is to deep to step on a sea urchin) which made it super convenient to take a quick dip in the sea before breakfast and whenever the day got too hot. We had a very nice balcony and also use of the washing machine just outside our door. And the shop, with pretty much everything you need on a day to day basis, is a few steps away. Highly recommended!

We had a delightful 4 night stay at Sylvia’s and Jurgen’s apartment. They were super sweet and helpful. There was a big bottle of water and one chilled one in the fridge. Lovely touch after many hours’ drive in heat. Little goes long way! Unlike in other apartments that we experienced in Croatia, we found everything we needed. From anti- mosquito nets on windows and on terrace doors, all kitchen equipment including sponges, detergent, hand soap, salt, pepper and perfectly working A/C. The terrace is great. The nights spent on the rocking chairs, listening to crickets, watching the sun setting beyond the hill opposite and then stars spotting were priceless! The hosts gave us many tips and recommendations for local restaurants and beaches and we even spent a day on a beach with them. Zavalatica is a small safe village where local kids gather her around 7pm to play a ball. The apartment is less than 5 minutes from a small supermarket and restaurant and another 5-10min walk from a coffee bar. Another 10 min walk is another lovely restaurant recommend by Sylvia. Rocky and ladder access beaches are on a door step (next to the supermarket) and another beautiful beach with white pebbles 15 min walk (with a 5 year old). If/ when we come to Korcula again, this is the place we choose again!

We had the most wonderful stay at this villa on Korčula! I came with seven of my friends and we all absolutely loved everything about it. The villa was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed — it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The private pool and outdoor barbecue area were highlights for us — perfect for spending time together and enjoying the gorgeous Mediterranean weather. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were cozy and clean, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The location is truly amazing — just a short walk from the sea and the old town, yet peaceful and quiet. The view from the villa is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset — it felt like a dream. Having private parking just 50 meters from the villa was also a huge plus. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He made sure we had everything we needed and gave us great local tips. It really made us feel welcome and taken care of. This villa exceeded all our expectations and we would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Korčula. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Captains Beach House was perfect for our family of 6. It had everything we needed, with the water at our front doorstep. It was clean, and Marko the host was very welcoming. I definitely recommend staying here as the famous Zitna beach is a 8 min walk or 5 min drive and it is perfection! You have restaurants & a supermarket close by. I would definitely recommend this place.
