The volcano hike was amazing and so beautiful, but there wasn’t much else to do after that. If in a straight couple or a mixed gender group it might be more pleasant to wander around and explore the the town, but as a solo woman or two women it was quite uncomfortable in terms of the amount of attention and harassment we received. We especially enjoyed the two tours we did with Smiley - Volcano Sibayak at sunrise and Batak village and market.
