Oh where do I start? Everything was perfect and exceeding our expectations. The welcoming "ceremony" was memorable and since we booked a suite our checked in was done in a special lounge area for suite guests. This lounge area is perfectly decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We then got upgraded to Premiere Suite which was superb. One thing we noticed from day one is the present of soothing aromatherapy everywhere in the hotel. Could you let me know what aromatherapy is that? Furthermore the choices of food and beverages are diverse and delicious. We do aware that the food price is rather high but this is worth it since the food and drinks are of high quality. Additionally, given the hotel's location and its 5 stars status the price of the food and beverages are not exorbitant. We love the location and environment of the hotel.. It was an unforgettable vacation for both of us and we are looking forward to come back to Plataran Bromo!

I stayed here for 1 night and it was one of the best poshtel experiences I’ve had. Staff were super friendly and helped with recommendations, clean, location is perfect, excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again!

I Love the room, I Love the big bed and Huge Bed. Food was delicious, this is my 2nd visit Bromo i found this property event not ready 100% ( they still have some project to finish until february 2026) but i more than happy to stay here. i would be back for sure.Staff Very friendly.

Perfect location, with an amazing view of the mountains. I loved the roof top restaurant with lights set up, enjoyed my evening at Istana Bromo Resort. The front office staff Rosie was friendly and helped me with a room with a beautiful view.

I wanted to do it solo on motorcycle.

I wanted to do it solo on motorcycle. Actually the jeep owners know exactly where to go, when, where to park etc. Takes the hassle out of everything. Not expensive. I didn't use a horse to get to Bromo rim but wish i did.200 K negotiable down to half i think My exercise day.

Since Bromo and this township is at a height, it is nice and...

Since Bromo and this township is at a height, it is nice and cool. Comfortable is the right word. Town is small and other than the sunrise trip to Mount Bromo there is nothing much. The sea of sand and climb to the caldera is a must. Overall a quint little place.

Location was good, literally 200m from the restaurant we ate lunch, dinner and breakfast at. Short walk to the "secret" park entrance. Zero hot water, even after switching rooms to shower after our hike up Batok.

Mother Earth is full of wonders and this is one of these. Never thought thsat I would be seeing a live volcano. The place is just right for one night nd one day if you are tight on time schedule, although a longer trip would be worthwhile.

The whole Bromo trip was perfect and the hotel owners helped...

The whole Bromo trip was perfect and the hotel owners helped us so much. He can pick up guests from the airport to the hotel. Just tell him we need a jeep, and he'll arrange it for us. As tourists, all we had to do was walk out the door at the appointed time and see the jeep driver pick us up at the hotel gate and help us into the car. The Jeep driver will arrange all the trips, including sunrise watching, jeep photo taking and horse riding. It was an amazing ride, we rode up to the volcano and only had to walk a few steps to see the crater.

There are wonderful volcano and beautiful sunrise in Bromo.

There are wonderful volcano and beautiful sunrise in Bromo. The journey of hiking under the mountain through the volcanic ash is amazing. The fly in the ointment is that the riding service provided by the locals always raises huge dust, and there are some very dangerous places such as the ridge without any signs.
