The surrounding country was beautiful and the owners were just lovely and made us so welcome. We found a lovely restaurant a very short walk away and a batik school next door. Very peaceful and tranquil. The bed was the best bed we had slept in our whole holiday.

I like that despite the place being near a busy road, it's not distracting, and the place remains serene. There were lots of arts and historical artifacts in their museum within the premise. Rooms were very spacious. It gave home vibes instead of the usual feels of hotel rooms. Staff were also very accommodating and nice. I will definitely recommend it to my friends, in case they want to visit Yogyakarta.

The host ibuk enny was so friendly, but we had a late check-in due to our bus arriving at 2 am. Ibuk enny are waiting for us until we arrive at the hotel. Once arrived, she made hot tea for us. In the morning she also does breakfast for us even the breakfast is not included. Even for a while, we love him so much as she treats us like her daughter. Best place I’ve stayed in Indonesia, comfortable and tasteful bungalows in a beautiful shaded garden, the staff feel like friends after a day, relaxed vibe but also incredibly accommodating, interesting people, you can rent a bike and be taken on a genuinely magical tour of the surrounding countryside, a real slice of life hanging out with local cyclists drinking lemongrass and ginger tea, no traffic no stress and no way you would find these routes on your own. You can also get a scooter (motorbike) and the staff are full of great suggestions for trips, whether it’s beaches or music or food, whatever. Came for two days ended up staying a week and I’ll return after a short trip outside the city. Cannot recommend enough :)
