Very pleasant stay. On request (day before) I asked the cook if she could make off-menu recipes as well. Best udang and babi food I've had so far on Bali. ♥️

Absolutely loved our stay at rumah Kelapa villa. Big comfy bed, magical balinese style in/outside garden bathroom & super relaxing pool space surrounded by coconut and banana trees made it feel very private and lush. All the staff are wonderfully helpful & the in-house restaurant was some of the freshest tastiest meals we had during our two week trip in Bali. (Make sure you pre book dinner, the curries are 10/10) Location is a 15 min walk or 2 min scooter ride to the stunning black sand beachfront of jasri. white sand beaches are just 5 mins drive south where you can have a massage on the beach and swim in crystal clear water! Thanks again John and the crew for a truely wonderful time in jasri. We'll be back.

A true hidden gem of Bali This resort is, without a doubt, the finest property in the Karangasem area — and one of the most remarkable places I’ve had the pleasure of staying at in all of Bali. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear this is a five-star experience in every sense. The property is peaceful and beautifully maintained, offering a rare sense of quiet and total relaxation that’s becoming harder and harder to find on the island. The resort has two stunning restaurants, both exceptional — the food is genuinely delicious, beautifully presented, and the overall dining experience is something you don’t easily forget. Service throughout the property runs 24 hours a day at an impressively high standard, yet what makes it truly special is that every single staff member is warm, genuine, and friendly. It never feels formal — it feels like being looked after by people who truly care. The views of Mount Agung are breathtaking and available from multiple spots across the resort, including a wonderful bar that makes for a perfect place to watch the volcano at sunset. And then there’s the infinity pool — it stretches toward the horizon, with water cascading over the edge as if merging with the sky and the mountains beyond. Simply unforgettable. I’m genuinely grateful I discovered this place. It’s one of Bali’s true hidden gems, and I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking to experience the island at its most beautiful and serene. I wish this resort all the success and recognition it deserves — it has earned every bit of it.

This resort is in a great spot. Candidasa beach is under renovation there fore its not the best for ocean swimming. I would highly recommend the restaurant and accomodation. When the beach front works are finished this place will be 100%

Awesome small hotel with 9 or 10 rooms. Ideal for a couple or older couple. Not for young party animals!

We fell in love with this place. We stayed a couple of days and everything was very nice. We had our own bungalow. It was big, cozy, and clean. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They always clean our room and they put some lovely flowers on our bed. It was really beautiful. The pool is also cute. We could enjoy the sunset directly from the hotel. The atmosphere there was really peaceful. Only the wifi didn't work that good, but that didn't bother us. We will come back for sure :)

Exceptional property and amazing staff.

This place is remote (yet easily accessible for beach, Candidasa etc by taxi). The remoteness adds to the experience. Sitting on your balcony in the dark in lush green surroundings with only the sound of nature … great to eventually go to bed listening too as well. Pool area, food and staff are wonderful. Two things to be mindful of, they didn’t have any alcohol, however they sent a staff member out to buy be some and I only paid what the shop they went to charged!! 😊 Upon check out make sure you have cash to pay for your food/laundry expenses. They don’t have bank/credit card facilities.
