Lovely! I would come back. Best place as a base to visit the east of Bali. Charming and peaceful. The sound of the ocean. Very clean rooms, great shower!, nice swimingpool, Very kind and welcoming hosts. They helped me arrange trips, ticekts and drivers. Travelling alone, I felt taken care of. Thank you!

Very good calm and rexaling place with kind helpful owners. Water, kettle, kitchen use also available. So quiet area, you hear the ocean at night. Right next to the forest and nature. The bathroom is spacious and better than on the photos.

Lovely, authentic stay in a Balinese family, this was a real homestay. Wayan, Madeh and Sefa are very kind and you can be sure you can learn a lot about Balinese customs and history. We tried all sorts of different fresh juices together. Amlapura has a great local market with a lot of fresh produce and Virgin Beach is worth a visit. Thank you for your welcoming hearts.

His insightful guidance helped us explore off-the-beaten-path cultural sites, steering us clear of the typical tourist traps. The highlight was certainly the tour of the local markets, a vibrant experience that allowed us to immerse ourselves in the local culture. The natural beauty surrounding Rumah Barong is nothing short of breathtaking. A short stroll from the property led us to a quiet, beach. Awesome place far away from civilisation but we enjoyed every moment spent with Diana and his family. Initially we planned to stay there for 2 nights bur extended time for 4 nights It is very basic accommodation but our rooms had a bathroom and comfortable bad as well as aircon. We spent most of the daytime on the Virgin beach which has most of the facilities like cafes, equipment hire with nice sea and good snorkeling. In the evening Diana provided us with terrific dinner made of local fresh caught fish cooked in Balinees way👍

The area is wonderful with so many things to do.

The area is wonderful with so many things to do. From beautiful beaches, horse riding, ATV driving, ziplining, monkeys, surfing, fishing, great local restaurants and day trips all over the island. Much quieter than the south and west of the island so you get a real look at traditional Balinese culture, not bogan booze buses and nightclubs.

It's a surfers paradise but not for us old couples.

It's a surfers paradise but not for us old couples. The place will be very nice if the owner take time to make it clean like clean sheets, new mattress with on bed bugs. The bathroom and toilets spruced up. Nothing much to see there except to surf and relax.
