The place itself and its soul are idyllic! The interior design is exactly as shown in the pictures. This family-run farm has a personal and heartfelt touch. Grandma is the sweetest person, and we gained so much respect and gratitude for her warm hospitality. The meals they prepared were absolutely delicious and made with love. It's important to note that this countryside location is all about peace and relaxation. If you're looking for a serene getaway and a total slowdown, this is the spot. However, if you're after something busy or lively, this is not for you even though we drove to Canggu and Balian beach one day. They offer amenities like laundry services, scooter rentals and you can use freezer in the kitchen . Highly recommended!

My friend and me stayed at JHB for about 9 days and we both want to share our experiences separately: This is a place where you can truly retreat and connect to the land of Bali and to yourself. The place co-exists with nature and even when you stay in the beautiful rooms it feels like you are outside. here the land nourishes you on all levels: body, mind and soul. Picking fresh fruits for breakfast, flowers for tea, relaxing, reading or meditate with the song of a small and the sounds of the jungle. Everyday I woke up here I was marveled by the beauty of the place and it was almost hard to choose which wholesome activity to do here. And the richness of the land here is not even the thing that made me enjoy the place as much as I have. What it did for me was the hospitality and kindness of our host Azwar and his staff/friends. In Azwar you find a host who enjoys having you as a guest, who wants to get to know you and share his knowledge of Indonesia and life with you. Being with him made me want to be a host for others since it showed me that hosting people can change and deepen their experience of traveling. Last but not least: Agung the chef of the place… For me food is one way to get to know a country and in Agung you have someone who embraces Indonesian food and just treats you to joy after joy. My honest recommendation: don’t choose your food and let him do his magic!

If you're looking to rest and reset this is the perfect place! I had the best stay at Shanti. I arrived feeling stressed and wound up and left feeling so relaxed. You can see the owner Shannon has put so much love and care into every aspect: - The rooms are stunning and so spacious. The shower is a definite wow factor. - The staff are all lovely and helpful - I was travelling solo but didnt feel alone as there is such a friendly and welcoming vibe. - The food was incredible- the smoothie bowls, watermelon juice and green curry were my faves. - The activities were optional but such a great way to step back and shift your mindset if youre feeling stuck. There's also the option of booking a trip or just chilling by the pool so you can make your stay whatever you want it to be. Can't recommend enough if youre looking for a reset. Thank you Shannon and team i hope to be back ❤️

We stayed 4 nights in Campuhan Guesthouse to escape the tourist crowds. You can always enjoy the sound of the nearby river and waterfall, plus amazing service and cooking (the food is delicious!). Leaning back to enjoy the sun next to the pool is also always an option. The entire hotel area is clean and well kept. It's actually even nicer than in the pictures, which surprised us. Additional benefit: they have 3 cats that are walking around or sleeping somewhere, which is really cute.

Our recent stay at Puri Dajuma Terrace was fantastic. An incredible location, away from the packed touristy areas. The view of the rice terrace at the facility is amazing. Highly recommend the walking tour to the neighbouring villages and the waterfall. Beyond location, the cleanliness of the entire facility was impeccable. The rooms were spotless, with great attention to detail. The common areas were also perfectly maintained, showing a clear commitment to guest comfort and hygiene. Finally, what truly made our stay memorable was the kindness and professionalism of the staff: every single person, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. I highly recommend the facility to anyone looking for a top-notch experience. The combination of its perfect location, immaculate rooms, and an incredibly kind staff makes it a true gem.

Great host! When I arrived, it was a day off, and all the restaurants in the vicinity were closed. So, the host brought me Nasik Goreng and fruits. When I left, I asked how much I should pay for that meal and he answered nothing.

Our recent stay at the Jungle Haven Bali Eco-Lodge was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience while remaining firmly committed to environmental sustainability.The staff are genuinely passionate about their mission. Their warm hospitality and extensive knowledge about local wildlife enriched our stay significantly. One of the highlights of our stay was exploring the surrounding nature trails. We spotted a variety of local wildlife and learn about the region’s ecosystems in a way that felt both immersive and respectful. Nestled in a stunning natural setting, the lodge is surprisingly accessible despite its remote charm. The directions provided by the host weres clear and straightforward, ensuring a smooth journey from start to finish. All we had to do was read and follow the instruction from the host on the best route on googlemap. Overall, the place strikes the perfect balance between seclusion and accessibility. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or a first-time visitor, getting to this eco-friendly haven is a breeze, allowing you to start your relaxing retreat as soon as you arrive.
