Honestly everything was exceptional, the welcome we received, the lovely staff, the gorgeous estate house which felt like it was ours for the weekend, the grounds, sauna, Sky Garden and of course the comfy beds. We left feeling so relaxed and are still floating on air. The blue skies and sunshine helped too!

This is a lovely stately period hotel. It currently undergoing refurbishment but any disruption was minimal. It looks out over the River Lee and is very peaceful. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished with a river view. Parking was free and easy to access. The Restaurant meals were of a very high standard. The included self service continental breakfast was generous but we also ordered additional cooked breakfast from the menu. Nice choices. All the staff were very helpful and professional. Highly recommend.

Baltimore harbour was beautiful and wild during the storm when we arrived. The next day all was calm and sunny, so we enjoyed the village and it's very nice restaurants.
The vegetarian pizza + fresh fish and chips in Jacobs was delicious.
So was the burgers in the Algier Inn.
There is even a 2 Michelin Star restaurant if you are foodie
We hope to come back during the summer to go whale watching and explore Cape Clear.

We stayed one night basically to stay at a place away from a city and nearer the sea. Quaint town, but did not have time for excursions…ate dinner at a nice restaurant out of town a short way from Rathmore House recommended by the house owner, called An Siben.

Baltimore was lovely, it was very clean and the people we encountered in the bar and shops were really friendly. It is really close to Skibbereen which has more in the way of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Casey’s in Baltimore was lovely for a read session and outdoor seating area to take in the views.

The harbour area was lovely above the harbour was hotels & bars where you could sit & enjoy all the comings & goings. Lively night life. great walks around the area. The Beacon is a must to walk too. We went on the Fastnet tour from the harbour a definite recommend. We ate at the Algiers Inn Gastropub a definite treat, great food & great staff, you cannot book a table only down side but worth the wait.
It is a hilly area just to be aware.
The Stone House is in a great location just on the way into Baltimore. The room was comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the garden. Rianne was really friendly and gave us lots of tips for walking, swimming and eating out. The breakfast was fantastic with great choices and there was tea/coffee available all day with homemade treats. I'd highly recommend a stay here.
Location was great, 5 mins to Baltimore town, 10 to Skibereen,, grounds were lovely with access to inish beg island which was beautiful. Very helpful information in the house regards food options nearby and things to do etc

Very enjoyable and peaceful place with a charming garden. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and with plenty of variety. Fritz and Freda are friendly dogs that enjoy a few head pats. Definitely plan to stay there again on our next visit to Baltimore.
The hotel manager was very nice and even upgraded us to a seaview room. The room was a bit cold as it was still early spring and I called down to the front to ask about it, again the manager was helpful and even came up to check and see if the heating had come on.
Staff are extremely helpful! They helped to book a tour and gave us great advice about the area. Their restaurant is fantastic, and the breakfast selections were amazing! The hotel itself is very comfortable and is a ten minute walk into the seaside village.
Rianne was a superb hostess, so friendly and so knowledgeable about Baltimore and the surrounding areas. We had the best breakfast ever , great choice, quality and exceptional baked bread and flapjacks all prepared by Rianne. We will be back for sure!!

Absolutely incredible view, a beautiful breakfast and great location very near Baltimore. It's a super short drive or wallk into the village itself. Absolutely spotless also in the room.
Casey's is a beautiful, old-fashioned hotel in a stunning location. The staff were lovely, very friendly and efficient. The food in the bar and at breakfast was great.
