The service was excellent, especially the lady who helped with the check in. She was extremely helpful and very pleasant. She explained everything that we needed to know about our stay and gave us some very helpful advice about the area and the places we intended to visit.

The opportunity to stay at Ballinalacken is a gift. From the front gate onwards is a memory in the making. The ambience is wonderful - the building, decor, furnishings through to the gardens. The bedroom was a treasure - quality throughout. The castle tour is a phenomenal opportunity - the icing on the cake so to speak.

The breakfast had a fantastic selection, from Full Irish breakfast to a choice of vegetarian or vegan items per plate. Parking was right outside the hotel. The location was fabulous and within walking distance of the Cliffs of Moher. Staff wonderfully friendly, hotel new and clean, great pub restaurant with live music most nights. Hotel was new, clean and nice smelling. There were warm gas fireplaces to sitt by downstairs. Would return to this hotel and area for hiking in the future.

Lovely big room, clean, comfortable bed. We had a very good meal and nice evening in local pub McGann's, about 300 meters from the accommodation. Perfect location for visiting the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren.
