The location was ideal for me because it's very close to my dear friends' house and because I had to attend an event in Tullamore. The cottage is on a lake, it's quite small but it looks like a doll's house! It's just part of a complex with a manor house, and a large courtyard, perfect for family holidays or events. I only booked the chalet for one night to stay close to my friends' house and I loved it. I would definitely love to come back and stay next year when I see my friends again.

Offering a garden and garden view, Ard na Gréine is situated in Stradbally, 27 km from Carlow Courthouse and 11 km from The Dunamaise Arts Centre.

Having your own separate building provided a very relaxing space and atmosphere. Everything you need was provided, so you had all the comforts of home while being on holiday. Our host was very warm and welcoming and made us feel comfortable immediately. She had stocked the cupboards and fridge for our breakfasts, which was much appreciated. Beautiful facilities. Would highly recommend.

We loved everything about this tiny cottage. It was so comfortable, clean and cute. We loved the small touches that you don't know you appreciate until you have them and you appreciate them. Our puppy was looked after too, with a nice bed and some treats. Just delighted. And the neighbour donkey, just amazing. Can't recommend it enough. If we are looking around for something in the future, we will definitely stay here again.
