The Eccles Hotel is located in Glengarriff and overlooks Bantry Bay. The Eccles has panoramic sea views, a restaurant with an outside terrace and free parking. The view from our window was lovely. It’s a beautiful area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were all exceptional and went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Our host was really sweet and friendly. We were greeted with tea and coffee when we reached. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. There was ample parking space for all the guests. Our breakfast was made to order and it was delicious and had a ton of variety. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Glengarriff is a nice small town with just about anything you'll need. It's a great jumping off place for exploring the Beara Peninsula. We especially enjoyed Harringtons Bar where we heard nightly live music and Bernard, the barkeep, who made us feel like locals.
Beautiful part of Cork, truly enjoyed our weekend, must see in ewe sculpture park, bamboo park was very nice and peaceful, Glengarriff itself is very nice and relaxing place and great evening atmosphere with live music in and outside pubs
You can take a ferry from Glengariff to Garnish Ireland. You can see some seals and Eagles on the way. The Island is great place to visit. There is a tour for the house and it is very interesting. We had a great time there. May is the best time as there are lots of big flower tree and it would look fantastic.

Great location for what I needed. Pretty setting and close to the charming village of Glengarriff. It’s just a short distance to the trails connecting to the Beara Way. I went on a couple of good walks right from the house. I was in the area mostly for the Literary Festival. The Black Sheep felt like home as I left each day and returned at night. Jovanka runs the B and B very professionally, the house is spotlessly clean and her baking is to die for! Both hosts went out of their way to be helpful. I hope to return.

River's Edge B&B is a true gem! It's elegant, yet relaxing. Our bedroom was lovely; comfortable bed, full bathroom and all spotlessly clean. The host, Leo, is very accommodating and his breakfasts were delicious! Glengarriff itself is a perfect location for visiting Mizen Head, Sheepshead, and the Berea peninsulas. We look forward to (hopefully) returning to River's Edge in the not too distant future.

Quirky old historic hotel with great views of the bay. Enjoyed sitting around lobby fireplaces when the rain curtailed our walking plans. Breakfast served in formal dining room reminiscent on another era.

Very friendly hostess who liked a nice chat (as I do). Excellent starting point for exploring Ring of Beara; within easy distance of Glengarriff (nice meals at Casey's)
