We had two rooms and they where adjacent with our own little hallway. The owner was very nice and check in and out was really easy. Showers were nice and everything was very clean. Breakfast had a good variety and everyone liked their food. Close enough proximity to the boardwalk and amusement park, was about a 10 minute walk. We did drive by it initially but once we turned around parking was plentiful behind the location.

    Moorings by the Sea is an exceptional choice for a family holiday! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our wonderful hostess, who kindly informed us in advance about upcoming roadworks that would limit access to the property. This thoughtful communication was greatly appreciated and made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The house itself is immaculate and well-maintained, with incredibly comfortable beds that ensured we had restful nights. The location is simply perfect—just a 20-minute walk to the vibrant Tramore strip and a mere 10 minutes to the town center. Plus, having a bus stop right outside the door made exploring Waterford city a breeze, with buses running every 30 minutes. Overall, I would give Moorings by the Sea a well-deserved 5-star rating! It’s an ideal spot for families looking to enjoy a relaxing and convenient getaway. Highly recommended!

    Lovely town placed by the sea. Beautiful beach. Very nice Doneraile walk by the clifs. In future we will go there again. There is a fun park by the beach, good for family visit. You can find many cafe and small bars, places where serving fish and chips, churros etc or Aldi stor very near to the beach. There is a big free car park and toilets by the beach. In the city there is fabulous Japanese garden very worth to see it, good place for relaxing walk.

    Has everything you need to entertain kids big and small,the beach,funfair,arcades,splash world.Shops and restaurants all within walking distance.Apartment location great,only few minutes walk to beach.Had everything we needed as a family of 4.Lovely and clean very family friendly.Definitely return again.

    We were there on the last weekend of the summer season...

    We were there on the last weekend of the summer season before the amusement park was scheduled to shut down so there were still lots of people and activities available. Plenty of restaurants and pubs. The beach is spacious but rocky and there are lots of rails to hike as well as just walking on the paths around town. Only 15-20 minutes to Waterford and the attractions there. A nice quiet place to stay with easy access to things to do.

    Tramore as sea side resort like it used to be is not the same the people do not seem to be turning up pity to see a hotels closed up. Where I stayed was clean tidy staff were mannerly the hotel was very dated I suppose after covid its hard to keep going.

    Tramore is a beautiful town with something in it for people...

    Tramore is a beautiful town with something in it for people of all ages and tastes, scenic drives and walkways and also the little funfair and indoor swimming pool. There are a great selection of eateries and bars also to whet one's appetite. The beach is lovely, lots of space, it rarely feels crowded. I look forward to visiting Tramore again soon.

    Myself and my Partner stayed at Dilis go Bráth Bed and Breakfast recently in Tramore Co. Waterford we enjoyed our stay and found the host’s very friendly helpful and very welcoming the Bedroom and En-suite facilities were very clean and comfortable this property had a very homely feel about it the Breakfast was very enjoyable we were very happy with our stay here we found the location very assessable and Central to all the attractions and amenities We would highly recommend this bed and Breakfast.

    Ideal for a night away. Lovely interior.. dark navy blue/maritime feel. We enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine in the lounge area looking out at the water and watching a very exciting hurling match. Very comfortable could have stayed there all evening. Room was lovely. Bathroom ideal. Breakfast was beautiful. The staff at breakfast were fab, hard workers. Full of smiles in the morning! A 5 minute walk from Tramore centre. A lovely stay!
