I just visited (Kasaragod bekal fort residency), and I was mesmerized to see their luxurious accommodations. Their staff behaviour is also excellent, and I would love to visit again.

Great rooms at affordable prices.. Have stayed in over 7 properties at Kasaragod, but this time I felt good value for money. The property is quite new and well maintained.. the staff are very polite and cooperative, always with a smile. The main highlight is how close it is to Bekal Fort, less than 300 m and wouldn’t take more than 3 mins by walking. Rooms designs and colors are also good along with all amenities 👍🏼

We were really impressed by the lodging at Bekal Village Homestay and its adorable and extremely helpful owner, Mahesh. On top of being located by a beautiful and peaceful riverside, the villa itself was exceptional. It showed a level of cleanliness and comfort that is rarely seen in India, and it includes a fully equipped kitchen with a top-of-the-line water filter; the type of amenities that one does not expect from a booking.com rental in India and that is more in line with Airbnbs in western countries. Oh, and the breakfast is excellent and not repetitive from day to day… Compared with the rest of Kerala, this homestay is quite underpriced in our opinion…

The place is quite divine and serene and the best location to stay away from the crowd. The staff were polite and friendly and everything was slick and span. Watching peacocks in the surroundings was a pleasant surprise and we had fun too with the great zip lining experience over the river. We had a great welcome from the staff with a cake too and a wonderful message carved on the bed for our 25th wedding anniversary. Thanks for that.

We arrived at the hotel around 10:30 PM after a six-hour drive from Calicut to Kasargod. The restaurant was about to close, but we requested a bowl of plain rice and a cup of yogurt for our son, who had an upset stomach and hadn’t eaten much during the trip. We were welcomed with tender coconut as a drink, and the staff was incredibly friendly, making check-in smooth. They quickly sent the rice and yogurt to our room, and even made sure the rice was hot. The property is fantastic, with spacious rooms, large balconies, and excellent cleanliness. You’d need at least two days to fully explore the property, but unfortunately, we only planned for one. We’ll definitely visit again. It's just 15 minutes from Bekal Fort. The breakfast was great, offering a variety of options. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
