Booked as a treat. It was recommended by my guide book and I wanted a hotel rather than a hostel this time. Felt luxury and is something my parents and grandparents would have felt comfortable and relaxed in. Great location so easy to direct autos and get around cheaply. Desk in room made it easy to work. Very convenient for business people. The best breakfast. AC included and laundry services (by the item) included.

Everything was great! Location was very convenient and close to the railway station & local transport options. The beach is less than 2 kms away. Rooms are clean, bright and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and courteous. They also assisted me with information w.r.t local transport, when required, being especially kind enough to permit me to wait in a little beyond check-out time when the train was delayed. The restaurant on the ground floor is also excellent with their food and service. Highly recommend this Hotel to anyone travelling to Kollam.

Beautiful hotel the the most wonderful staff ! Big thank you to Shirley George on reception who was very professional and went above and beyond to assist us in all our requests and arranged all our transfers ! A very lovely lady ! Fabulous hotel , lovely clean room , good location . Outdoor pool an added bonus . The best Ayurvedic massage ever, special thanks to Sneha and Anoob for their professionalism and the passion they display for there work , excellent! As a place one needs to have a car to movie around. we had a taxi drop us off at the property and pick us up 3 days later. So we were bound to the hotel :)l There is limited Uber service in Kollam. So plan transport accordingly.

Kollam a feeling not to be written..

Kollam a feeling not to be written.. The boating and the authentic food something can't be missed. The people are friendly and helpful. Try supreme halwa and the cake along with the Sea food restaurant - opp to anandavalleswaram temple.. I really miss those evenings near kadavoor church

Nice relaxing place.

Nice relaxing place. But, currently the main highway is under construction and heavy traffic and diversion roads are very bumpy. Travelling from Trivandrum airport to Kollam takes very long due to the highway construction. Otherwise, visiting places is not an issue at all.

Kollam is a beautiful tourist destination esp Thangassery and it's historical past with the lighthouse, remains of the fort etc. We stayed at Hotel Dfort, Thangassery, and our stay was enjoyable. Would like to specially mention their friendly staff Front office- Sherly, Athira, Felix, Alen and Arun and Eversmiling restaurant staff - Subail, Mehazina, Pratik, Ali, Samantha, Sunita, Josmi , Kannan and Manoj, who attended on us.

The property is spacious and the roof terrace is a bonus.

The property is spacious and the roof terrace is a bonus. There needs to be a large sign on the property saying Quilon Beach Inn so it’s easy to find. It should be stressed how isolated the property is. You either need transport or you have to bring all your food for the time spent there. Also it’s incorrect to say it’s like a private beach. There is a locked gate from the property onto a small patch of sand and then loads of rocks down to the sea. It is accessible to everyone including the village dogs. I don’t like giving negative reviews. The property has great potential. Feels like it needs a bit of TLC from the owner.

Kollam is a small town in Kerala with a beutiful beach, coastal area, a beautiful but old lighthouse, lots of shopping opportunity and culiniary delights. There is a clock tower, railway station nearby and international airport 72 km away.

Located on the banks of Ashtamudi Lake this was a real treat for our 4 nights in Kollam. The accommodation was in a terraced building with balcony for outside dining, a reasonably large bedroom and typical Indian shower / toilet wet room. The owner couldn't have been better, taking 4 of us out at night to 2 large local festivals which were amazing, this was topped off by a promotional film being shot in the grounds. A last treat was our visit to the local restaurant Meen by Chef Pillai, past winner of UK's Master Chef.

the room is inside a yard, you just have to cross the road to a beach which is almost empty, apart from fishermen and some locals. Stuff was very friendly and helpful, they organised homemade lunch (super yummy!) and even booked me a train ticket. Room had everything I need and was clean, bathroom as well.

Excellent ambience. The view of Lakeview was beautiful. There is a free boat ride you can take arranged by hotel. The staff were cordial and welcoming. Breakfast was good and had lot of options. An excellent experience.
