Location was perfect for a stop on our long road trip. We had a lovely view of the fell at the front of the hotel, cute cosy room with a living room that had shared facilities. Staff were lovely, and helpful. Great to have the restaurant downstairs. Would stay again!

Magnus was a very pleasant host, we were greeted by the two lovely dogs and a couple of lambs. Magnus has a small pub on the farm where he plays his own music in the evening. He also gave plenty of tips on what to see the next day.

*review for Aurora Igloo South* Date: Late April. Temperature: Approx. 10° (Igloo) This was my first time sleeping in one of these igloo pods and I have to say it was fantastic. They were more than spacious enough for the two of us, including a few of our large bags, they were modern and comfortable inside. Upon arrival the pods had two heaters, one medium-sized fan and one oil radiator (which were on), which brought the temperature up nicely to a comfortable level. There are two small openings you can open for airflow / cooling in summer, however, I advise caution, I opened one and had to climb on a chair to close - small niggle. I have to say the mattresses was possibly one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on with a nice duvet. One point to note for those who are used to hotels, the facilities (toilet / shower kitchenette area, are NOT inside the igloo. (Facilities) The toilet and shower facilities were warm and modern and, as the pods, fitted out with nice modern tables and chairs. The toilets and showers were spacious and very clean. A nice touch was to have a free-to-use coffee machine which I was not expecting. We unfortunate only had a single night stay, leaving early the next morning. Overall, we were very impressed with out stay and would definitely book again.
