Brandnew apartment in the centre of Angera. The renting company reacted immediately on my messages (all contact went by WhatsApp and Booking). Kitchen was well equipped. When I asked for a proper coffee machine they brought it the next day. Parking is right in front of the apartment which is a real luxury because Irish difficult to find a parking place in Angera.

Cute balcony to enjoy coffee or a meal with a view of the medieval castle, Rocca di Angera (well worth a visit!). Immaculately presented, spacious apartment. Huge, comfortable super king-sized bed. Smart TV with access to Amazon Prime and YouTube. Large kitchen with coffee machine. Brand new bathroom with a shower worthy of a luxury hotel. Excellent location: Angera is a delightful, low-key lakeside town with a port offering boat trips all around the lake. The apartment is just a two-minute walk from a great supermarket, a bakery, the lakefront, the local food market (Thursday mornings—a must-visit), and the best pizzeria in all of Lake Maggiore (De Vita Pizzeria, truly deserving of its many five-star reviews online!). Best host I’ve ever encountered in all my travels! We arrived at Milan Malpensa airport at night in the pouring rain with huge bike boxes, only to discover that the minivan airport transfer we had booked was a scam. Our host performed nothing short of a miracle by calling around and arranging a friend of a friend with a minivan to pick us up and bring us to Angera. Without this above-and-beyond help, we would have been stranded. Be warned! A scam company, COSMO S.N.C. di Meloni Stefania, operates multiple fake taxi websites that take bookings and payments but never show up: airportstaxitransfers.com, milan-airport-transfers.com, and olbiaairporttaxi.com. We successfully used transfeero.com for our return trip to the airport with oversized luggage.

Angera is a small town with a nice park at the edge of the lake. Ferry terminal with regular crossings to Ancona ( 5 minutes on ferry ) which had a large choice of restaurants and cafes. Angera seemed very quiet and would be a good base for exploring the area.

Angera is a very pretty little town on Lake Maggiore, northern Italy. It's about 40 minutes from Milan Malpensa airport. It has good restaurants and a great gelateria. The Rocca is well worth visiting and a day on the lake is to be recommended.

In few words, we fell in love with Angera, because of the staff in this hotel. Imaan and Katrina who not only made us feel at home but also suggested routes and places to visit, which made us see the beauty of the town. As a family you surely need places like this, which makes you comfortable and doesn’t give you that hotel vibe.

Family founded hotel. They are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to everybody who likes the country side locations. Very quiet in nature, nice view on the lake and the castle. Proffered to accept the dinner at place Italian specialties you will be satisfied. I will come back again for sure ! :)

Lovely little hotel. Recently renovated. Offers little touches that go beyond expectations. Bedroom slippers, king-size mattress, toiletries. Breakfast room has an extensive view of the lake. Convenient walking distance to Ferry pier and not far from the castle.
