The hosts are incredibly kind and supportive. They helped us find the nearest grocery store and gave us great recommendations for places to visit. The location is perfect—near Lake Como, yet tucked away in the mountains with a charming, rustic village vibe complete with chickens and roosters. The room is spacious and has a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains. There’s a relaxing chill zone with a pool and a wonderful outdoor dining area with stunning mountain views. 10/10. Thank you so much! ❤️

Lovely historic place. Absolutely beautiful garden with natural swimmingpool and many little private sitting area’s. Loris and his family did everything to make our stay great. Our motorcycles and us felt very welcome in this little paradise.

it is really overwhelming when it comes to choosing a right place to stay in the lake como area, and we definitely got so lucky to stay here! Roberto is amazing, a true gem, helped us out with so many insight recommendations and just had such a cool vibe to him. the hotel is located in a quiet town very close to everything. honestly wish we could stay longer. the room was spacious and got cleaned every day, filled up with water and some snacks. on the ground floor there's a restaurant that is connected to the hotel, serving traditional food and drinks, it came in handy.

The location of the Apartment was good.

The location of the Apartment was good. It is a uphill Apartment and when you come out of the building you have a common space where in you can enjoy the city view which is really awesome. Overall a good host and a very good arranged Apartment. Would recommend it to others.

The only problem is the lack of road signs.

The only problem is the lack of road signs. It's easy to make a mistake when returning at night. You need to take precise reference points along the way; local administrators should pay more attention to this.

Asso is a nice place in itself, with a 50-minute train...

Asso is a nice place in itself, with a 50-minute train connection to Milan (the train is inexpensive in Italy). Apartment Rita is quite a distance outside Asso, so if you want to relax on a terrace, you'll need to drive first.

Asso itself isn't much to be honest, it's just a tiny...

Asso itself isn't much to be honest, it's just a tiny village. But there are plenty of nice places to visit in the area! You're even quite close to Como, Bellagio is only 30 minutes away. Varenna is about 40 minutes away. A car is a MUST here!

A quiet, charming town.

A quiet, charming town. Plenty of greenery, nestled among the mountains. It's not too hot. A good base for trips to Como, Lecco, and Bellagio (each about a 30-minute drive from Asso). It's worth having a car; it's more convenient than commuting by public transport.
