I was welcomed with a personal note in my bedroom, which was very clean and comfortable, with fridge, electric kettle and AC/heater I can control (it had previously been warmed up for my arrival, very kind!). Secured parking for my motorcycle for half the price of cars, not full fare like many other hotels. Very friendly staff. Perfect location to walk and explore. Being out of season, I thank the hotel for being open, when most are closed. As a world traveller in my motorcycle, Hotel San Michele became one if my favourites!

They were like a beacon of light in the storm taking my reservation last minute, answering the phone, staying up and fitting me in a parking spot at 11 at night. I didn't even know where I had driven into and then awoke to a beautiful breakfast on the veranda overlooking the sea. As a vegetarian I especially appreciated the nuts, dried fruit and flax seed to add some protein to my breakfast.

The hotel was situated with a sea view balcony and parking lot. The property is across the street from the promenade which was convenient to walk to town past the Roman wall and ocean. We enjoyed a seafood lunch in the town square and then later on delicious pizza for dinner a half block from the hotel. The heat was sufficient.
