It is a beautifully restored/converted series of interlinked spaces of impeccably sympathetic modern interior design. On the exterior it is difficult to distinguish the new from the old. It is situated immediately adjacent to the river that flows rapidly through the town, making a calming sound throughout the buildings when the windows are open, but which is totally noiseless in the bedroom with the window shut. A special mention to Donna, who acted as my receptionist, barister, restaurant recommender, breakfast provider, and information provider about the town!
