It was a family run hotel with friendly staff. I can't speak Italian with only limited words, but the staff went out their way to help in any way they could. Location is bang in the middle of Portifino and Pisa and is a beautiful mountain view. The food from the restaurant is amazing!

If I could give 15 points, I would give at least that much. This place is simply a dream. A hidden gem. The accommodation and the surroundings are fantastic. It's located in a quiet, peaceful area. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. They even helped us with optional excursions. The breakfast was very delicious, all ingredients are homegrown. The pool has the perfect temperature and is 26 meters long. There is also parking available. It's worth walking to the Tower restaurant too, where you can choose from uniquely flavored dishes. The village is just a 10-minute walk away at most. Dogs are also warmly welcomed, they were allowed everywhere. There's hardly any phone signal, but there is Wi-Fi.

Everything was exceptional. The location was great, close to Bagnone. The host had provided more than expected for breakfast and for a very comfortable stay. We only had 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer. It was very quiet and the view was wonderful.

Beautiful room in a lovely place!

Beautiful room in a lovely place! Loved how the room was decorated, comfortable bed and super clean. We were only there for one night, wish we could have stayed longer because the surroundings were beautiful!

Our accommodation wasn't in Comano, but in Camporaghena, a small, charming, and very quiet village with stone houses. Excellent hiking trails, some very easy, nearby, and fresh water fountains all around... to find any amenities, you'll have to travel to Comano, which is very close, or to other, slightly larger, neighboring villages.

Very quiet location, then moving a bit by car you can get to go for walks with fantastic views up to 1600 m, very few people, welcoming places, maybe it doesn't offer much, but you have to make do with the context

The surrounding nature is beautiful, but the village has...

The surrounding nature is beautiful, but the village has nothing, not even a shop. Furthermore, the Comano Cavalli riding stables are no longer open, even in the summer. The castle can currently only be visited by reservation as it is not fully accessible.

Comano is ideal for hiking.

Comano is ideal for hiking. In good weather, several hiking trails lead into the mountains from here. We were there in the rain, so we drove to the coast (where it was dry and warm). Since we were only there for three days, it was manageable, but it's more challenging for a longer stay.

Great position and comfortable stay in the quiet little mountain village of Comano. Hosts were very welcoming and meals cooked by Umberto were really delicious. Fresh salads from their garden. The pool was amazing to cool off as the weather was hot and local hikes incredible through local medieval villages.

A charming, authentic, family owned hotel with just the sweetest people. You feel very welcome and at home the minute you arrive. Amazing pool with beautiful view,good breakfast and dinner with a big wauw factor!
