The host is so kind and helpful. She tried all her best to make our stay in conversano an exceptional one. She recommended us beautiful places to see and to eat. She even tried to call some restaurants for reservations for us. I highly recommend this accommodation. A bonus: it is close to a great focacciaria! Also, if you are by car, it is not so hard to find a parking spot around the house. Had a lively time. I am definitely coming back there!

Conversano is a great town to use as a base in Puglia.

Conversano is a great town to use as a base in Puglia. The town itself is lovely, and every Tuesday during the summer, there is a party on the RampaVilla steps. It is also close enough to enjoy the beautiful nearby beaches and to take day trips to towns like Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Ostuni, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, and even Lecce.

The location in Conversano was a real highlight. The historic centre is truly beautiful, with its charming narrow streets, authentic atmosphere, and wonderful old buildings. It was a pleasure to walk around and discover the character and beauty of this lovely town.

For those visiting Puglia, I recommend to stay in Conversano...

For those visiting Puglia, I recommend to stay in Conversano and use it as a base to explore the region. It's a very quiet city, small, perfect to rest and relax. Plenty of parking spots if renting a car. You can also find places to stay much cheaper than the bigger known cities. Conversano is also close to the sea. Around 15 - 20 minutes by car from Monopoli and Polignano a Mare. And under 2 hours drivers to cities like Ostuni, Matera, Locorotondo, Alberobello (for the latter less than 1 hour). You can also find easily places to eat. There are a few options and they are good.

A lovely town.

A lovely town. We were there for the new wine fiesta so it was very busy at night. loved it. Also easy to get to the coast by bus to explore Pogliano and Monopoli. We spent a week and it was just right.

Lovely typical authentic Italian town with interesting...

Lovely typical authentic Italian town with interesting Centro Storico with its good range of cafes, restaurants and historical sights. No Sky Sports bars, Irish pubs or Sunday Roast Beef dinners (thankfully) ! Very family friendly and a good base to explore the wider area. Definitely not a tourist trap - mostly locals

The only downside to this stay was that we had to come home!

The only downside to this stay was that we had to come home! Francesco and his family at Terra Terra were so unbelievably lovely, he gave some wonderful recommendations for places to visit and eat, as well as making bookings for us. The breakfast was delicious, the location is beautiful and peaceful, I can't wait to visit again. Francesco was also so helpful, as our car rental fell through and he was able to help us get this sorted, it honestly was one of our favourite stays ever and we can't recommend Terra Terra enough. It is close to Conversano, which is a lovely town with amazing food. Our favourite restaurants from the stay were Il Giullare and Vita Pugliese (both recommended by our wonderful host!)

The location was good, 10 mins walk to the old centre, where there were plenty of restaurants and bars. The owner, Rita, was an excellent host and made us feel so welcome. She prepared a lovely breakfast with homemade biscuits, jams and even homemade foccacia which she wrapped up for us to take for lunch! It was excellent. The room, on the first floor, was spotlessly clean, good shower and good bed. Parking was on the street and we easily found spaces. We loved staying at Rita's place and would certainly recommend it.

Lovely apartment. Everything was brand new (June 2024). The entire building was completely renovated and looked like a new construction. It was very well equipped. Everything was perfectly clean. Bed was big and comfortable. Our host was very kind and helpful. Apartment is located just a few steps from the beautiful old town of Conversano. And it is a great starting point to vist all attractions in this part of Puglia (Bari, Monopoli, Alberobello, Ostuni, Matera, Polignano). Highly recommended.

Clean, fresh and modern. This little apartment provided us with the ideal base to explore Puglia. Everything was clean and in good working order. We were welcomed with some lovely local treats and snacks; not everyone does this. Vito was always on hand and was very attentive and helpful during our stay. He even brought us some homemade biscuits! Conversano is a lovely town as well with plenty of nice restaurants and walking area around the castle.
