There is no 24/7 reception desk, however, the check-in process for late arrivals is quite interesting and thrilling yet well set. You'd receive a code to enter the hotel, and then you'd pick up an envelope with room keys / cards. Very pleasant experience communicating with the personnel of this hotel. Good breakfast.

Personal is very friendly, restaurant and bar the best in the city. Reaching the city the both way is fine. By road is fast and safe, By funicular is exotic, but save the legs, cause hotel is high, on the mountain - so sea view is very nice. Calm and good place. Pool seems like nice, can be cleaner, but is ok. Recomended for travellers. Car can be parked in parkplace for 10 euro per day, but worth

By my first arrival in Cogoleto, it took me a while to find the right location because it is hidden in a park. The friendly family who run the Stone Beach Bar (thank you) were very helpful. That immediately indicates how attractive this beautiful coastal town in the Liguria region can be. Hotel Sereno is run by a cheerful, enthusiastic hotelier who can tell a lot about the history of this monumental building and the surrounding park. The rooms are clean and authentic with beautiful details on floors, walls and furniture. The two friendly ladies who serve breakfast on the lovely terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea do their utmost to ensure that you lack nothing. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was fantastic. As a passer-by I enjoyed it and would like to go back to visit the many restaurants and terraces on this attractive coastline. This place was wonderful, Third generation family run hotel with an excellent restaurant. The chef cooks several options and that's what is for dinner that night. The night we dined there we were told a table was set up for us with bread and water at the table, We were first served thinly sliced veil with tuna sauce for the appetizer, then we were served pasta Bolognese and pesto. then it was a course of rabbit and pork with zucchini and eggplant fries. then dinner was finished off with home made tiramisu and home made limoncello
