Wonderful stay: very welcoming staff, luxury rooms with incredible beds, delicious breakfast, free parking at the train station to visit cinque terre,... +they give lots of recommendations nearby, levanto beach is great and has different restaurants with sea view for sunset. Would definitely come back here!

The check in processes was informative and easy. The breakfast was absolutely incredible and definitely worth more that €10. We were impressed! The staff were absolutely wonderful and kind. The facilities were just what we needed. The location was what we loved the most. Only an 8 minute walk to the train station which takes you straight through Cinque Terre and Milan. The hotel is also only a 4 minute walk from Levanto town and the beach where you can walk / bike through the abandoned tunnels. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Baia di Levanto. It’s a charming, privately owned hotel in the beautiful town of Levanto — perfectly located away from the crowded tourist spots of the Italian Riviera. Massimo, the owner, was amazing — incredibly friendly, relaxed, and helpful, which made our stay even more special. We were traveling with our two kids and our room was spacious, recently refurbished, and tastefully decorated with an opera theme (each room is named after an aria). Although officially a 1-star hotel, the experience felt far above that. It offered all the expected comforts at a very reasonable price for the area, especially in the middle of August. Our room overlooked the square, and the hotel is just a stone’s throw from the Casino di Levanto and the beach — literally a one-minute walk. Overall, we loved our experience and would highly recommend Hotel Baia di Levanto to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable stay in this beautiful part of Italy.

Everything! Excellent location - easy for the train, beach and restaurants. Delicious breakfast. Very kind and attentive staff - they were always happy to go above and beyond. Free bikes to use. Lovely grounds with indoor and outdoor sitting areas.

Friendly locals. Excellent boat cruise with Mario - Costa di Faraggiana - around Cinque Terre. Restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Met the sculpture artist Renzo and ordered superbly crafted unique bracelets.

Levanto is the next town north of Cinque Terre.

Levanto is the next town north of Cinque Terre. The train that runs between the five towns, actually starts in Levanto so you can easily visit all the towns, and the trains also run to La Spezia where you can connect to many other parts of Italy. There are many restaurants, a fairly large beach, and you have many choices for hikes, walks, or rent a bike and ride through the tunnels. We were very glad we choose Levanto as the Cinque Terre towns were fairly crowded.

Levanto was the best place to anchor a visit to Cinque Terre. After visiting each of the small towns, we found Levanto to be a good place to return to in the evenings. Being a bigger town, there were a lot more options available for everything: groceries, restaurants, beach, gelato!, laundry, etc. It was a very friendly family centered community. Kids were out playing every day, people were riding bikes, and the town square was always busy with activity. It was just absolutely charming.

Levanto is a lively town with numerous restaurants...

Levanto is a lively town with numerous restaurants particularly serving fresh fish and even some outdoor night time entertainment. Perfect location from which to explore the Cinque Terre villages and walks. Excellent transport links (train and ferry) to Cinque Terre villages and beyond …Pisa.. Portofino… Would definitely recommend a visit to Levanto!

Good place to stay if you wanna travel to Cinque Terre.

Good place to stay if you wanna travel to Cinque Terre. Cheaper and less crowded than Cinque Terre, but just 20 mins by train to go to Monterosso, or hiking from Levanto to Monterosa is also the good way, and you don’t need to pay for that trail. The trail is not easy (10km) but doable and not as crowded as others trails in Cinque Terre.

I really enjoyed the beach at levanto and the night life was...

I really enjoyed the beach at levanto and the night life was exciting, every evening the had organised some kind of a event . The most exciting part was the bicycle ride along the galerie levanto- bonassola. Also the punta della madonna ( chiesetta madonnino della punta ) was reachable with a cycle. Anyone should walk along ( hike) through the sentiero levanto- monterosso.

Location was ideal. Easy & quick to explore nearby Cinque Terre by train. Levanto was a lovely small town. Don't be put off by the outside of this hotel, it is in an apartment block & takes up the 1st & 5th floor, but if you just want somewhere to sleep it is very good. The room was very big with kettle & safe & had a proper balcony with seats & sunloungers. Plenty of choice for breakfast.

Such a lovely Hotel, the people were so friendly, which made the place even special. Nothing was ever a problem, they made all possible. They were a shuttle to bring and collect you to Levanto and they always were so quick. Lovely view and lovely location. Highly recommended that place. We definitely come back! Thank you!

With one word: Everything! Levanto is very good for adventurers. and palazzo Vannoni is a fantastic hotel. Beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast and the kindness and helpfulness of the people working there made our vacation more beautiful than we expected!
