We used Empoli as a base as the train station offered many...

We used Empoli as a base as the train station offered many possibilities as a central hub. We did however really enjoy a lovely walk in the scenic hills. The center was clean and had a really nice vibe to it and the locals were very friendly. We were also told by a historian that the city had a good museum of art although we didn't have time to investigate further unfortunately due to time.

The apartment was lovely and very comfortable. The surroundings had lovely scenery and the nearby town was vibrant. Public transportation was quite a challenge and getting a taxi was not much easier. You can get most places by walking but if you have mobility issues you will struggle. I would definitely stay again though, very nice place! 😁

A gorgeous authentic Italian town just outside Florence with...

A gorgeous authentic Italian town just outside Florence with great train routes to Siena, Lucca, Pisa and Cinque Terre. It's the perfect location if you're planning to have a Tuscan base to explore the area but don't want to pay Florence prices. The locals are all friendly and look out for everyone.

The apartment was clean and had everything you could need. Maddelena was our host was beyond helpful and welcoming meeting us at the property on our arrival to Empoli. We had a family wedding outside Empoli and Maddelena was able to help us with providing a taxi company number. The appartment was very central and easy to access all areas of Empoli with a short walk, the train station is very close by also. Would recommend this stay and would also happily return and stay again.

I do not like anything. Unfortunately we reach evening time . And there is no air-conditioned in the room and we are freezing. We call them after while come some one but he couldn't do anything. So you can't visit this hotel in winter

The location of Empoli is excellent to discover Tuscany by train and bus. You are right next to the train and bus stations. A lot of good restaurants within minutes walk. Abdallah much cheaper than Florence
