We used Empoli as a base as the train station offered many...
We used Empoli as a base as the train station offered many possibilities as a central hub. We did however really enjoy a lovely walk in the scenic hills. The center was clean and had a really nice vibe to it and the locals were very friendly. We were also told by a historian that the city had a good museum of art although we didn't have time to investigate further unfortunately due to time.

The apartment was lovely and very comfortable.
The apartment was lovely and very comfortable. The surroundings had lovely scenery and the nearby town was vibrant. Public transportation was quite a challenge and getting a taxi was not much easier. You can get most places by walking but if you have mobility issues you will struggle. I would definitely stay again though, very nice place! 😁

A gorgeous authentic Italian town just outside Florence with great train routes to Siena, Lucca, Pisa and Cinque Terre. It's the perfect location if you're planning to have a Tuscan base to explore the area but don't want to pay Florence prices. The locals are all friendly and look out for everyone.

Good location and easy to get to. We were able to park our car in the hotel's garage which was great rather than having to worry about on street parking and fees. There was no one there to check in with but the instructions were clear and easy to follow (they communicated by text). Our room was clean and had access to the communal roof space which was nice. Bed was comfortable. There was a machine in the hallway to get coffees.

A beautiful space that’s easy to feel at home in, with plenty of room for one or two or more. It’s a loft apartment with a modern feel and beautiful collection of books and art. Paolo is a fantastic host, responsive and able to answer any questions. There’s a supermarket within 8 minutes walk and a beautiful park equally close- only 20 mins walk to Empoli station or having a bicycle makes life even easier!

Great apartment, big and clean, exactly as described in the summary and pictures. The apartment is located in a quiet area, very close to the train station and to supermarket. Daniele is a great host, he provides us recommendations with places to eat and also to visit from Empoli and Florence. We hope we’ll return someday.

Convenient location to train station and city centre.
Well appointed room. Shared kitchen was clean and well equipped. Lovely roof terrace, beautiful place to sit and relax. Host very friendly and helpful in exploring Empoli.
Highly recommend this property.
