Cleanliness, helpful staff, very good range of breakfast. My air con was good and it was close to the town and railway station.

We weren't very lucky with the weather and couldn't appreciate the view of the lake. But we were lucky with the accommodation, there were not many guests and we were given special attention. We were upgraded. The breakfast was very good, even too good for the two of us) The room was clean and cleaned despite the fact that we stayed for 2 nights. Thank you very much!

I am travelling often and was myself in the travelbusiness for many years. This little place of Jean-Carlo and his family is unique and a secret tipp, i loved my stay very much. It is family runn and you feel a great hospitality and very welcome. Pets are welcome also. The rooms are perfectly clean with a nice view and garden in front, the in the price included breakfast is amazing and you get served on table with many home made delicatesses like cheese and cake. Next to the place is a very nice italian Restaurant for dinner and the rooms also do have a fridge and teamaker. There is free parking and the location is great, many hiking routes and beautiful views. Also to mention is the free late check out, which was very helpful. Thank you so much Jean-Carlo and Erika for this memorable stay and your hospitality. We like definitely to come back.

The property was beautiful, with the pool overlooking the lake. The staff were lovely, there was a lounge open for drinks and snacks all afternoon and the food at dinner was delicious.

The staff were exceptional, they are wonderfully considerate and very attentive. Many staff were also charming and genuine in their interactions with guests. The housekeeper was fantastic, what a delightful and endearing lady, like wise many of the restaurant staff added to the overall guest experience. Many of the guests had been visiting this hotel for years. All the guests we met were lovely people. There is a real loyalty towards this hotel from historic guests. We met one gentleman from Switzerland who has been visiting for 45 years. Most of the guests we met have been here several times. This is a true testament to the hotel, staff and management. Of course there is the location, fine food to mention but for us the highlight was the people.

It is a wonderful property. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The surroundings are beautiful, with a carefully maintained garden, and guests can also enjoy the pool. The staff are kind and helpful. The property has a restaurant where we had some drinks — service was excellent. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice, attentive service, and a lovely dining room. The location is convenient: without traffic, Lugano is not far away. Astano itself is a charming place, making the stay even better. We also brought our dog, and it was clear that she — and other dogs — were genuinely welcomed.

Centrally located, just a few minutes walk to the lake shore where there are lots of restaurants and cafés. Right opposite a supermarket where the hotel has reserved places for hotel guests in underground parking.

Everything was great with location, room and stuff! we booked a suite with a terrace and own jacuzzi and its really worth it! cozy villa with private parking!

Fabulous hotel set in beautiful gardens, a short walk from the centre of Cannobio. The room was a good size and we loved the private garden terrace. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and we hope to return one day.
