Super modern apartment. Extremely clean. Comfortable bed. Excellent host. Loved the Italian building with marbled, spiral staircase leading up to the apartment. Shame we only had 1 night here as we were passing through and Varese looks beautiful. Would definitely stay again. Excellent value for money.

Villa Cagnola is not in Varese but 6 kms outside the town.

Villa Cagnola is not in Varese but 6 kms outside the town. If you are just passing through on an overnight stop then you need time to see the city. We walked to the nearest restaurant and had a very good dinner, beautifully served. This was in Gazzada.

We traveled with our little dog throughout Europe but the staff at Varese made us feel at home and fell in love with our dog named Leonardo which opened up our hearts for the staff and the hotel. We were just minutes away from visiting the famous "Villa Panza" and the famous collection of many of his Arts. Wonderful shopping experience just down the street and yet the hotel was secluded and private.

a wonderful place with so much to do - the sacre monte, lots...

a wonderful place with so much to do - the sacre monte, lots and lots of historic gardens, in walking distance the Villa Panza with amazing art and gardens - have lunch there it is fabulous. Also just staying by the pool with its views is amazing it's a shame it closes it 7pm - it really warrants longer hours.

Despite traveling to Italy yearly, I had never visited Varese until now. I was initially hesitant to stay in Varese since I needed to be within an hour from Milan for the Salone del Mobile, but I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the city. Varese was vibrant both during the day and at night, with a plethora of excellent restaurants and cafes to explore. Its proximity to the stunning lakes of Como and Varese was also a huge plus. The sight of the snow-covered Alps provided a picturesque backdrop that made Varese even more special. The charming cobbled streets in the city center were lined with pretty buildings that showcased the history of the area. Although we only stayed for two days, I could have easily extended my stay for a week or more.

We loved the hotel from the first sight. Perfectly located on a hill above the city with magnificent views of the lake and the Alps, it has this vintage feel to it you can only come across in those old Belle Époque hotels. The interiors are beautiful, as well as the rooms. The restaurant is outstanding and breakfasts couldn’t be better. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We liked it there so much that we stayed two nights longer than we expected and we already plan to come and stay again.

I arrived very early and they let me park outside my room and use the incredible spa facilities until my room was ready. They sent a message to the spa staff letting me know. Turkish bath, ice shower, aromatherapy rain shower, sauna, and beautiful large spa! I was just off the plane from Australia and I felt like a totally new person after the spa treatments, all included in the hotel price!!! Dinner was delicious but unfortunately the live music was too loud over my meal.

One of the most amazing experiences in Italy. The location and the view from the restaurant terrace, unreal atmosphere of the village - it was a holiday, we participated in the outdoor mass. We had no problems driving and parking. I will come back to that place again🇮🇹🥰

Very nice apartment for two people if you spend some time in Varese. The two train stations are just around the corner if you plan to visit some sights around (Milano, Lago Maggiore, Lago di Como...). In the apartment you find everything you need. Clean, small and nice.
