What a wonderful place in the most amazing location. We really enjoyed our short stay and would stay again. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast with an awesome view to Vulcano and Lipari with Mt. Etna in the distance. Thanks so much, Daniela

The breakfast was solid with lots of variety; the host made very good cappuccinos, and always offered to make a second which I gladly accepted. The host and hostess went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, comfortable, and had all the information necessary to enjoy my experience. They even arranged transportation for me to and from the ferries at no cost to me!

A quaint hotel in a beautiful area of the island, Rinella. Very tranquil and relaxing. Monica, Rosa and Marco were exceptional with doing as much as they can for you to make your stay at their impeccably clean hotel, a great one. Monica's home made goodies added a special touch to the breakfast on the terrace with a great view! Highly recommend Hotel Principe di Rinella.

I loved everything about the place the people cannot do enough to help, breakfast is all home made jams cakes juices with produce from the property by Francesca. The rooms are large and well appointed and extremely clean modern enough while remaining authentic and their local knowledge was amazing. The view, the host, the facilities. It is a special place. There is a bus stop relatively close to the house, so we managed to get around the island without renting anything. That meant walking up the steep hill at the end, but it's only for 5 minutes! We were 'upgraded' to the larger flat and felt like royals with amazing view and tranquility. Silvia is very helpful and caring. Recommended!!

Rinella in June was very quiet with not many restaurants to...

Rinella in June was very quiet with not many restaurants to choose from. There was one clothes shop,one grocery shop and one tabbachi. If you don’t have a car, ferry, taxi or Citi bus is the only way to get about - or hiking of course. The bus I think is cheapest but we didn’t use it because we were mostly island hopping. 10 minute ride on ferry to Santa Marina Salina seemed expensive for the trip but I think it gets more expensive at certain popular times of the day. This is a quieter, more remote place to do the hopping (with the extra 10 min journey always tagged on the end from Santa Marina) so if you want a little bit more buzz choose one of the other islands or Santa Marina. Personally, we liked the vibe on Vulcano and loved Stromboli. (Stromboli is probably not the best base for island hopping though as it is the furthest one away). Lipari is big and bustling and didn’t feel like island-life but if you like that sort of thing, it’s a great base. On the whole we enjoyed our choice of base at Rinella. It was a good ‘getaway from it all’ place, where we were forced to do extremely little- when not venturing.

The view is breathtaking! The hotel is located in a perfect location to easily reach all the interesting attractions of the island. The rooms are very comfortable and extremely clean! It was a joy to stay here! Everything was perfect but was makes this place truly special is the hard work of Michelle and his fabulous team. You are amazing! Incredible place on the seafront in the peaceful village of Rinella. The rooms with private terraces are worth the money and the hotel provides great recommendations for what to do on the island. Really appreciated the luggage pick up service at the ferry port too and the staff were very helpful.
