Arriving in Florence without any hotel reservation, we stumbled onto this place out of shear necessity. Booked in for a single night, but loved it and stayed an extra couple nights. Clean comfy rooms, excellent bed and linens, friendly staff and a great little little hilltop village just a short walk across the grounds where you can grab a killer bottle of wine and charcuterie. I think they have a couple of pretty good restaurants in the village as well, but we just had some wine, cheese, and marveled at the views. Perfect place if you have a rental car and want to strike out on day trips, and get back to a quiet evening. As mentioned, we stumbled onto this place and loved it. Would have been even better with some better weather, as the huge pool looked pretty inviting. This is a place that you could stay for a whole week or more and unwind.

They were available and welcomed us at 10pm checkin, for which we were grateful. Even have elevator. Breakfast was in lovely Breakfast room with kind waiter. The area seemed safe and clean.

Fantastic location as we came by train; literally just across the road from the station. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Our room was perfect; clean, inviting and comfortable. This hotel was amazing! Easy to find, the staff was always kind and very helpful. They answered any of our questions and were always available. We originally booked the stay for 3 nights, but we decided to stay another night and the process to add an additional night was super easy and we loved our stay here. Looking forward to staying here the next time we are in town!

The hosts were the most friendly people on earth. We could feel like at home. The breakfast was basic and therefore great: coffee of your choice and a lot of pastry as well as yoghurt, corn flakes and tosts. For a dinner you can choose a restaurant 50 meters from the entrance of the hotel or other places in the town which seems like one of those in the mountains when you go skiing. Also easy to get from the center of Florence by train.

This was the last stop of our trip with a toddler and what stood out most: the staff was amazing and so sweet. We had an early arrival which was no problem, could choose the room that we liked most and the way they spoke to our child was so nice. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Also good transport options to Florence centre.

We love the owners! We stayed 15 years ago and they have made improvements and added a pool since that time. There is also a great hike near the hotel through an old burial grounds and a beautiful walled city just a couple kilometers away. There is a fantastic spa where we got a couples massage. We ate dinner inside the walled town.
