Evidently German guests like them with breakfast. The hotel is not too far from Piazza della Madonna, sporting a wonderful dragon fountain, on the way to the Santuario, which has a Brunelleschi style dome. Take Via Vanvitelli up the hill the post office, behind that is a pedestrian vicolo, starting at Porta Romana. Follow that down to Piazza Madonna. Along this pedestrian route you will find restaurants, religious tchotchkes shops, herbalist, aeronautical museum, pasticceria, cafes, hotels and B&Bs and more. Hotel San Francesco is also a good base for a day trip to Recanati, a brick hill town, home of famous poet Giacomo Leopardi. If you are driving, they have the most beautiful parking facility for visitors, Parcheggio Centro Città 2.0.

Walk distance for what you need to do. Comfort and cozy room, parking in the hotel with nice instructions from the staff. easy to find as they are in the main street outside walls. Didn't took breakfast.

Located in Loreto, La Vecchia Fattoria offers air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi throughout, and a garden. The rooms have a classic décor and wrought-iron beds. Apart from meeting the cleaning staff in the mornings, there was no other contact with anyone in the building as the restaurant and pizzeria were closed so it was quite frightening to feel alone and isolated there at night. The room was comfortable and cleanliness was good but I changed my room after the first night because of the noise from the traffic, but the other room was just as noisy. The accommodation is bed only as there are no facilities for breakfast. 2 small pastries do not constitute a breakfast. I think you should be clearer in your advertising that this is a ‘smart style’ motel so guests are prepared on arrival with good mobile networks to communicate with your team electronically to open the gate, check in with passcodes, deal on line with staff for queries.

Family-run Hotel Loreto is situated on Loreto's main road, 40 metres from Piazza del Santuario square. The rooftop terrace is higher than all other buildings in the historic centre. We loved our stay. The hotel is located in the heart of the historical center, close to the Basilica. It also has a restaurant on site with delicious food. The staff is wonderful. The lady at the reception was lovely, helped us with everything we asked for. The room was big enough.

Superb location right in the centre of Loreto, on the road leading directly to the basilica, in easy walking distance for several good restaurants and a quick stroll to the bus stop for Recanati, Osimo and Ancona. Hotel's own restaurant was useful when I got back late from a nearby town - staff cheerfully cooked me dinner, although it was late.
