Excellent location for skiing, a short 5 minute drive to Madesimo. Breakfast consisted of great coffee, a selection of meats and chesses, croissants, yoghurt, cereal, cake, continental style and help yourself - no hot options available. The whole place was very clean and tidy, very friendly staff and very comfortable beds and pillows. During our stay there was only one restaurant available in the village, it was booked out very quickly and for good reason - it was excellent food. We'd love to come back in the summer to explore the hiking.

Lots of activities for kids inside the hotel, ski 🎿 front hotel, free parking around the hotel near the river, you can choose a paid hotel park for 15 euros for night. We stayed one night, but they didn't charge for parking. For best view choose room number 314, food excellent 👌 , most positive thing was very warm room all the night.

Never Again!!!

Never Again!!! We booked a week in this Hotel for a skiing holiday in January. How it gets its high reviews is beyond me. I would rate it 1 Star and that’s only because of its location to the ski lifts, Sure it has a pool ( full of mothers plus babies and older children in the weekends) but no sauna. The hotel itself is dated, tired and dilapidated, it has a creaking old lift that only goes to the third floor and as our room was on the fourth floor we had to drag our bags up to our very small double room. We booked a week in this Hotel for a skiing holiday in January. How it gets its high reviews is beyond me. I would rate it 1 Star and that’s only because of its location to the ski lifts, . We arrived on a Saturday and the hotel was busy with week-enders and ski clubs. Monday morning the hotel was virtually empty, when we returned in the afternoon the hotel was full of teenagers on a school trip ( +/- 80 ). The noise level really went up and teenagers being teenagers proceeded to take over the hotel. That night the noise did not quieten down till far after midnight. In the morning we complained to reception, they were sympathetic but said there was nothing they could do about it, the management did not want to know, so we checked out paying for the whole week after staying for three nights only. Had we been warned before that a group of school children were going to be staying at the hotel that week we would not have booked. It only says it is ‘child friendly’. This hotel is very popular with school clubs and ski clubs. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

It's a good hotel in a ski resort that was quiet and pleasant in the late Summer. The owners are cheerful and welcoming and really into their wine, with a great selection to choose from. The room was on the small side for two guys, but the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great and we felt comfortable leaving our motorcycles parked outside the hotel. There is a nice town square with a church and several cafes and restaurants to choose from, all equally good.

Truly the nicest hosts I've ever experienced at a hotel, ever. Also really surprised to see how modern the interior is, given how the exterior looks quite dated. Food was amazing as well. Couldn't have asked for a better stay after the climb up the Splugenpass, and all that for a very modest price. 10/10
