It's a really mediocre place. Very old infrastructure.
It's a really mediocre place. Very old infrastructure. Mediocre beach. Hard to find a decent restaurant.
This place maybe was okay-ish 30 years ago - now, it doesn't make any sense to stay there.
What's interesting - I was there ~10 years ago, not near the seaside but, closer to the mountains - and we liked it way more compared to the mass-tourist-but-poor beach side.

Massa is not overrun with toursits.
Massa is not overrun with toursits. The mountains are beautful, the beach was clean, water clear and white sand beaches. There are plenty of free beach areas with showers. The beach is clean as well. Lots of restaurants and the grocery stores have a huge variety of food and it was not over priced. We found the local restaurants excellent value and people were very friendly.

Calm village, a little bit industrial, but its not noisy. Not many aboard tourist so you can experience a full Italian lifestyle. Beautiful views on the sea and mountains. Cool place to have nice walks, see the main promenade around 3 kilometers away, and it's a good place to get on the local trips. You have Pisa 40 minutes away by car, Florence 1,5h away, Cinque terre around 1h away etc.

The apartment is big and cozy, and it is located in a very good and quiet area from where you could walk easily to the center. The whole apartment is spotlessly clean. There are two large bathrooms, one with bathtub and one with shower and the double bed is very large and comfortable. The terrace full of plants next to the kitchen is beautiful. The owner is very friendly and was always willing to accommodate our needs. I highly recommend the apartment, that for me it is one of the best places to stay during a visit to Massa.

My husband and I loved everything about this hotel. Every member of staff made you feel so welcome. They were very attentive to your every need. We ate dinner at hotel every evening and were never disappointed. Food was great value for money and they had a varied selection on menu. Beautiful swimming pool area with more than enough loungers and chairs for every guest 😊 lastly the views from hotel are spectacular

Marisa made us extremely welcome, the room and whole hotel were spotlessly clean. The room, breakfast, pool and facilities at the B&B were perfect, we couldn't have wished to stay in a better place!

Very good location in Massa, close to the historical centre. We stayed overnight and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was offered but we had to leave early. The host was very helpful
