We chose Montecatini Val di Cecina to experience a more authentic side of Tuscany, away from the busy tourist areas. Additionally, it is well located for visiting nearby attractions. We really enjoyed the charm of the old town and the atmosphere in the central area, where you can find two good restaurants. The property is located in the historical center. The house itself has a special character, and the rear terrace offers a pleasant outdoor space to relax. Communication with Chiara was excellent, and her recommendations were extremely helpful.

We had a really lovely stay at I Castagnini. One of the highlights was definitely the warmth and kindness of the hosts, who made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the little touches, like the fresh fruit they would share with us, which made the experience feel very personal and genuine. The property itself is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by nature and far enough away from everything to feel truly quiet and remote. At the same time, the beach is still only about 30 minutes away by car, so it was a great balance between countryside tranquillity and easy access to the coast. Our children enjoyed the stay very much and felt very comfortable there. It was a perfect place for us to slow down, relax and enjoy Tuscany as a family. We would happily stay here again and can definitely recommend it to families looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay.

Great communication with a very nice host speaking a lot of languages. Easy pick-up in a free car park outside of the ztl. The flat in an old palazzo is so beautiful, very elegant. Perfect harmony between the marvelous rocks of the castle and the useful modern furnitures. The small city is so nice to walk around and the commerces are all great. We had a wonderful stay in the Toscana Amore Mio apartment! If you like privacy, sounds of nature and spectacular views of the real Tuscany, this is the place. We have visited Tuscany several times in the past but we have never been to the Volterra area and we really missed out. I'm glad I did now. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need to make your stay pleasant, the host was careful to add small details that make the difference and the terrace overlooking the hills is a joy. We will definitely choose again this place when coming back 🦋

Breakfast was great! The breakfast staff were fantastic and the espresso was perfect. The location was in the center of Voterra "old town". The room was plenty big, more like a suite. Plus the rooftop cafe was very convenient and useful. As hotel guests, the cafe staff were happy to cork our bottle and provide us with a plate and silverware for the wine, cheese, and meats that we bought at the food and wine festival (VolterraGusto 2023).
