Offering a seasonal infinity pool and hot tub, Villa Le Calvane is set in Montespertoli, on the hills overlooking the Chianti region. Olive oil and wine are produced on site. Suddenly it was in front of us, Villa le Calvane, in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by mountain ranges and hills, on whose crests ancient pine trees gather in rows to pay homage to the beauty of this unique landscape. The villa's tastefully selected interior and generous space create a cosy atmosphere. As always, it is the people who make the difference: First and foremost the director of the house, Andrea, the sommelier Massimo and the service team, Prya, Monica and Daniele. Our special thanks go to them for an unforgettable time and hospitality! We will be back, look forward to 2022, stay healthy! Best regards Britta & Stefan Wöhner
Surrounded by a 33-hectare garden on the peaceful Tuscan hills, among olive trees and vineyards, Le Mandrie di Ripalta is just 1.9 mi from Montespertoli. We loved this place, absolutely perfect for a romantic stay! The views from the property are spectacular. We had dinner at the property and it was all fresh & local produce - all incredible! The wine they produce at the property was heavenly! Breakfast was varied and again, all fresh & local ingredients. We chose to have breakfast outside, there was only one set of table/chairs outside though. A tip to the property would be to add more tables/chairs for outside dining at breakfast time.
The Podere dell'Anselmo is a small farmhouse offering independent apartments, an on-site swimming pool, horseback riding facilities, wine tasting and a cooking school. The farm is absolutely beautiful! The wine and food are delicious! The pool is amazing and pristine. we were able to go out horseback riding, which I would highly recommend. Fabrizio, the owner of the vineyard, is friendly and welcoming!
Located 2.2 mi from the center of Montespertoli, Borgo Divino offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and garden. Free WiFi is available throughout. The staff were exceptional. The location and views wonderful. Restaurant was lovely for dinner . The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped
Located in Montespertoli, 20 miles from Santa Maria Novella and 20 miles from Fortezza da Basso Convention Center, Podere Casanova has accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning, a seasonal... Everything: amazing views over the Tuscan hills, good location to visit Florence, extremely friendly hostess who made you feel like home, delicious breakfast that she prepares with attention in details, perfect place for kids: playground, trampoline and lots of toys to play with, pool, clean appartment. We definitely recommend the place. We had the best vacation ever!
Set on Aliano Hill in a 7000-m² park filled with ancient cypress trees, Villa La Cappella dates back to the 12th century. It features 1 outdoor heated pool with views of the Chianti countryside. Excellent villa, great atmosphere, fantastic pool and nice hospitality of the owners...
Located 19 miles from Pitti Palace, Villa Albertina offers a restaurant, a shared lounge and air-conditioned accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. An extraordinary location in silent hill country, very large and comfortable room. There is a forest behind Villa Albertina with a view over a large part of the Chianti, you can even see the towers of San Gimignano. One of the best places I have ever stayed.
Located a 10-minute drive from Montespertoli, eco-friendly Agriturismo Borgo Stella offers a restaurant, garden and above ground swimming pool. First of all, the hosts, Giuseppe and Mariana, wonderful people. Then the food, breakfast or dinner, were so good, Italian breakfast, then like dining in a Tuscan family. The wine and the beer excellent, home made by the hosts. Then, of course the place, the surroundings, the room, the courtyard, in a word: everything.
We stayed at this hotel for 13 days. The surroundings are stunning, But, sadly, the room we got looked nothing at all like the pictures we saw advertised. The room was very spacious though and the bed was lovely to sleep in. The airco worked perfectly. It was cleaned every day, and we got new towels every other day. The decor, though, was severely lacking. No pictures, spotty (new paints applied) ceiling, some mismatched furniture and an ancient chair. There were two lights hanging from the ceiling that were mismatched, utilitarian and gave very harsh lighting, too. The bathroom was extremely narrow, the toilet was squeezed into the space besides the shower stall. There was only a rain shower, that leaked, and no other showerhead to use, The water pressure was low most times. The shelving, though ample, was at an angle, which had stuff sliding off. The worst faux pas in my opinion was the fact that there was no actual toilet roll holder, but some sort of coat hook that was, badly, attached to the wall and basically hanging off one screw. The pool area was super. It is spacious and has ample seating options and parasols. The breakfast was nice, the croissants were lovely and the lady at breakfast was so very sweet. For dinner, the restaurant reserves seating for its guests, so there is always a table available for you. The food was a bit hit-and-miss sometimes, but overall tasty. The location of the hotel is perfect. There is a little town, Montespertoli, nearby with a supermarket, restaurants, etc. And if you want to visit towns and cities further afield, you are quickly on the motorway. I would recommend this hotel, due to the location, but only with a better room.
Very beautiful region. Good starting point for traveling around Tuscany. Excellent restaurants, with excellent food, for any type of customer, from local cantina-style up to Michelin-star luxury, special attention to i'Bacco Toscano with their excellent staff and atmosphere. The region is not very well updated in Google Maps so don;t rely too much on that, but regular nav-apps are even worse. Nevertheless, signing is pretty good. Local roads are not the best, but this is a general "rule" in Italy, where only the highways are good.
Montespertoli is a charming village with all the amenities you need on holiday. Beautifully situated in the breathtaking countryside of Tuscany. Ideal place to visit all the must-see cities of Tuscany.
Montespertoli is a fantastic small village which Villa La Cappella sits just on the outskirts of this village. Sitting in the Plaza enjoying an ice-cream is total must when coming to this part of the world.
Montespertoli is a typical little Italian town but in a spectacular landscape between Florence and Siena, an ideal base for exploring the region. It has most of the facilities you need especially the refurbished Co-Op. Go to Cera una volta in nearby Lucardo for a combination of good Tuscan food and a spectacular setting for dinner.
Even if we are not used to the restaurant program, very good food, quality services, average prices. A plus would be that the bus to the fire can be taken more often and later. On Saturday, in montospertolli are fairs with craft products that represent the vast gastronomic culture and special traditions of Tuscany
This place is hands down one of the most tranquil and relaxing spots I’ve ever been to. The service was exceptional, food was delicious, and views were unmatchable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Daniel and Max, part of the hotel staff, had made the trip for us. Anything we needed was done immediately with care and diligence. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Tuscany.
We've had a wonderful stay at Podere Casanova. The house and facilities (swimming pool, games for children...) were perfect, and Lisa was the best host we could hope for. Definitly recommand for families who want to visit this beautiful area of Italy!
A great agrotourism country accomodation in Montespertoli. It has a great restaraunt in the area in 2minutes. Near at 5minutes there is a great playground for kids with playground and nice food. Suitable for country holidays. Florence is 30minutes away.
A lovely place with great views and a terrace where you can sit and eat. The only downside for us was that we were not in the main hotel but down the hill and up the hill. If you are not that fit, it is a drive between the two.
Excellent place in the heart of Tuscany. Montespertoli is an excellent base to visit Florence & the region. Typical Italian small town, not touristy, lush olive & vineyards setting, excellent food at local prices
Amazing property! the rooms are very comfortable and cozy. The outdoors are beautiful and very well kept. I wish we could stay longer than one night but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked.
Very close to the center of Montespertoli
fantastic , friendly hotel
It was a great pleasure to stay in Montalbino. It is perfect for both kids and adults. Anna and the whole team really know how to make a pleasant holiday for everybody. The combination of agriturismo, restaurant and farm is great. The food and the wine are perfect - locally grown and mostly organic. We can recommend this place totally!
It is a lovely property overlooking all of Chianti. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was a nice size. They serve a delicious breakfast and we had a nice dinner with one of their bottles of wine. They responded to contact quickly through What's App.
The farm is absolutely beautiful! The wine and food are delicious! The pool is amazing and pristine. we were able to go out horseback riding, which I would highly recommend. Fabrizio, the owner of the vineyard, is friendly and welcoming!
The house has kept its rustic charm with modern amenities. The surroundings are totally peaceful with a lot of fragrant trees.
