Good breakfast, great view and great location

Amazing secret luxury hotel, with breadth taking views and only pool in town. Definetely above average breakfast that can be enjoyed on the terrace via unbelievable view on Val d'Orca.

The owner is a very hospitable and helpful lady! She served a wonderful breakfast even earlier than standard hours. The room was great for me, I didn't have much stuff with me, but it might be a bit tight for people with large suitcases (I assume there are larger rooms for this occasion). The bed is great! Supermarket next door. Grazie per tutto!

Good location and cleaning comfortable room.

Hotel Rutiliano is centrally located in Pienza and a short walk to the centre. Quiet location. Owner and staff were very helpful, always friendly and helped made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Owner’s wife ensured beautifully cooked home made torta’s were in the breakfast table each morning. Great swimming pool was available. Patio/garden breakfast area. Rooms clean and tidy.

Everything is great ! This hotel is perfect and it has everything with also a lot of green areas around to walk. - Stuff is really friendly, which is great. - Price was quite good. - The view is perfect - Breakfast was nice.

What can one say about this place? Perhaps it’s the first time in my life that everything was so thoughtfully arranged and handled with such professionalism that I couldn’t find a single note out of tune. The facilities were incredibly beautiful and complete, and the staff welcoming and courteous.

The place is located in probably the most beautiful part of Tuscany and you can spend the evenings with the glass of wine fully apreciating the view.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori Wellness & Spa in Chianciano Terme, and we had a pleasant and relaxing experience overall. The staff truly stood out with their friendliness and accommodating nature. Despite arriving much earlier than the check-in time, they welcomed us warmly, offering us a drink while recommending great places to visit and dine around the area. This thoughtful gesture set the tone for our stay. The spa on level 4 was a highlight—a serene place to unwind while taking in the lovely view. It was the perfect spot to relax after exploring the area. Our room was clean and tidy, with all the essentials we needed. While the bed wasn’t fully comfortable due to slightly noticeable springs, it didn’t significantly affect our sleep as we still managed to rest well. We also enjoyed the hotel’s charming facade, where we could sip tea or coffee while admiring the fantastic views—such a delightful experience! Overall, the hospitality, relaxing spa, and beautiful setting made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our visit so pleasant!

The wellness service. Pity don’t book on time.

I will never forget the scene when you walk through a path full of trees and the iron gate opens slowly in front of you. The owner greeted us with a smile in front of a bush, along with the cute little dog. The hotel is very close to Pienza and Montepulciano, and you can see the valley in the distance from the restaurant. Everything is very rustic, but very thoughtful, and it is a paradise for relaxation. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast is also great, and the bed is very comfortable, which can bring a very good sleep.

Everything here. The view from the dinning balcony is fantastic and the location is excellent. Short walking distance to Pienza town and also close to many trails. The staffs are warm.

A beautiful hotel located on a hill, in nature, among pine trees. Peace, quiet and a magnificent view. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel. Covered parking spaces. Extremely friendly staff. The rooms and bathroom are extremely spacious and comfortable. Clean and tidy. Recommendation.

The place has great beauty and everyone there is really kind. It has a beautiful view and the location was key because you are inside the historic town, close to good restaurants, but also close to the rest of Montepulciano in case you want to use the bus or have a pretty walk. The personnel helped us a lot with recommendations and by making the reservations for those restaurants that don’t speak english. The room was really comfortable as well.

The staff are 100 out of 10 — extremely pleasant and friendly. I even needed an adapter to charge my phone, and one of the employees went to the store and bought the right adapter for me. I really didn’t expect that. It was very thoughtful and professional.
