Booked last-minute for a stopover in Muggia, Neris Boutique Room No. 6 turned out to be a little gem. Perfectly located in the historic centre, spacious, modern, and furnished with a real eye for detail. Everything feels thoughtful, stylish and wonderfully effortless. The many small touches turn a lovely stay into a perfect old-town Italy experience. The warmth and helpfulness of the owners and the infectious gioia di vivere of the Muggesani on a weekend make the place feel truly special. A place I will definitely return to.

Muggia is a small coastal town near Trieste...and it is a very happening town that comes alive at night...where families come together at the central square for ice creams and some good food...I really liked the entire vibe of this town it's very clean and quiet and extremely relaxing...the restaurant has fresh seafood options if you're into seafood and amazing wines and a really good seafront to walk around. i really liked it...calm and relaxing place.

We liked Muggia.

We liked Muggia. It is small and easy to navigate the old town. The main Piazza has several bars and cafes, friendly and welcoming for a drink or a meal, and fun for people watching. There are more cafes and bars towards the waterfront. Just stroll around and enjoy the relative tranquility. We arrived in Trieste by train, taxi to Muggia was around 35 euros. We took a day trip back to Trieste by ferry (fun in itself), and did lots of walking from Muggia. It's a nice respite from the tourist circuit, and so pretty with stone buildings and small alleyways, plus the castle (exterior) and Duomo to enjoy. Muggia Vecchio, up on the hill behind, was well worth the walk.

We liked the place really much, it has all the amenities you need, except air conditioner, as others have mentioned in previous comments, but we kindly asked Franca if she could bring us a fan and she did and that was amazing. She and her brother are really nice, warm and communicative people and we will visit them again when we get the chance. Also, their pets are really friendly, we loved them and I think they loved us too. The place is quiet, 20 minutes walking distance from muggia center and a 30 minutes ride to Trieste center.

An out of town location which suited us and a warm greeting from Paolo on arrival. Plenty of free parking on site and the room was a big space. It was warm so we appreciated the aircon in our bedroom. We enjoyed the outdoor space and could eat at our patio table with items purchased at Muggia supermarket, and with the good wine Paolo gifted us. Breakfast was very good. And Paolo also gifted us a second bottle of wine on our departure!
