Muggia is a small coastal town near Trieste...and it is a very happening town that comes alive at night...where families come together at the central square for ice creams and some good food...I really liked the entire vibe of this town it's very clean and quiet and extremely relaxing...the restaurant has fresh seafood options if you're into seafood and amazing wines and a really good seafront to walk around. i really liked it...calm and relaxing place.

We liked Muggia.

We liked Muggia. It is small and easy to navigate the old town. The main Piazza has several bars and cafes, friendly and welcoming for a drink or a meal, and fun for people watching. There are more cafes and bars towards the waterfront. Just stroll around and enjoy the relative tranquility. We arrived in Trieste by train, taxi to Muggia was around 35 euros. We took a day trip back to Trieste by ferry (fun in itself), and did lots of walking from Muggia. It's a nice respite from the tourist circuit, and so pretty with stone buildings and small alleyways, plus the castle (exterior) and Duomo to enjoy. Muggia Vecchio, up on the hill behind, was well worth the walk.

we had the pleasure to stay at this property, located in the very heart of Muggia. Clean, cozy and freshly renovated, it exceeded our expectations. The hosts are very friendly and helpful in any matter, they really do care. the coffee shop downstairs is serving good coffee and freshly baked, warm pastries in the morning. In the nerby you’ll find bakeries, restaurants and pubs. The scenic view is pretty romantic - we simply loved it!

The apartment is spacious, well-stocked, and as it is on the top floor, there is always a very pleasant wind. The terrace is huge! There is a closed garage for your car! There is a big DESpar on the corner for shopping and the bus that can take you directly to Triest has a stop in a 2 min walk. Muggia downtown is sweet andnoffers more tha you would expect

Everything was amazing.The location is just perfect.Muggia is only in walking distance. 30mins boat trip to Trieste,20 mins drive to Portorožor Koper or Piran.We managed to visit 2 countries during our stay. The breakfast was delicious and we always found something new to try every day. The staff was very helpfull also. The whole area is a must visit.
