A one-night stay is not a good option.....in that case -...
A one-night stay is not a good option.....in that case - you haven't even used all the free perks or amenities of the San Rocco hotel (which is kind of a sleepover for owners of boats & yachts). One night & a good breakfast gives you pool access (40e/p.p.) + garage (30e/day).

Lots Of nice bars and a few restaurants.
Lots Of nice bars and a few restaurants. Excellent gelateria. Everybody seems very friendly. If you come by bike, you can visit nearby Koper, too. Muggia is more lively though. And very authentic and you can observe local life there.

Muggia is a small coastal town near Trieste...and it is a...
Muggia is a small coastal town near Trieste...and it is a very happening town that comes alive at night...where families come together at the central square for ice creams and some good food...I really liked the entire vibe of this town it's very clean and quiet and extremely relaxing...the restaurant has fresh seafood options if you're into seafood and amazing wines and a really good seafront to walk around. i really liked it...calm and relaxing place.

We liked Muggia.
We liked Muggia. It is small and easy to navigate the old town. The main Piazza has several bars and cafes, friendly and welcoming for a drink or a meal, and fun for people watching. There are more cafes and bars towards the waterfront. Just stroll around and enjoy the relative tranquility.
We arrived in Trieste by train, taxi to Muggia was around 35 euros. We took a day trip back to Trieste by ferry (fun in itself), and did lots of walking from Muggia. It's a nice respite from the tourist circuit, and so pretty with stone buildings and small alleyways, plus the castle (exterior) and Duomo to enjoy. Muggia Vecchio, up on the hill behind, was well worth the walk.

The staff was kind and helpful. The location of the hotel was just perfect, right in the center. The room was well equipped and enough specious. The breakfast was a sweet breakfast, the coffee and the freshly baked croissant was delicious. Next to the hotel there is a parking lot, the parking fee is 4 euro per day. We recommend this hotel.

Beautiful quite place with close car distance food shop and cose town Muggia. Nearby beautiful mountains for nice hike.
We travelled with dog so the garden and surroundings were ideal. Nice large house with possibility to always find shade when the temperature is killing.

Big comfortable apparent in front of the sea. Publik parking at 4€ per day just 200mt away, supermarket in front and 400mt from Muggia old center
