This is a tremendous property in the centre of Nemi with brilliant views. The property was very well provisioned and spotless. The host greeted us personally and showed us around even when we were delayed due to traffic. They had prepared some small welcoming gifts which was a nice touch.

This space was so perfect in every possible sense of the word! The quality of the fittings were great, the locks and security made me feel safe (female traveller on my own and travelling with quite a bit of electronics!). The furnishings were stylish and good quality, the space was clean and it had everything you might need for a short break. The Wifi was also fabulous. The host was amazing and got in touch with me within the hour - it was a (literally!) last minute booking and they were able to give me access to the property within less than an hour of me booking.

I was in Nemi 50 years ago.

I was in Nemi 50 years ago. It has changed a lot and is VERY touristy. But you can't beat the view or the strawberries when they are in season. It is a lovely town over a gorgeous lake. Definitely worth a visit.

Ask your hotel hosts for the right road to Nemi, because the GPS did not always work for me there, as there are many high cliffs that interrupt the ability of the GPS to work right. To Nemi, travel the road through Genzano and around the lake, do not take the “shorter” high road, as you will end up on the wrong side of Nemi, and just have to drive down and around anyway. This happened to me, LOL. Also, that road is extremely narrow. Park at the edge of Nemi, and then walk in. This town is less accessible to those traveling by wheel chair or who have trouble walking up hill. The views over Lake Nemi are breathing taking. Lastly, do not miss the Roman Naval Museum.

It is a fantastic, fabulous, very romantic place with an unforgettable atmosphere and beautiful panoramas. There are paths through the forest of Diana to the lake, to the museum of antique ships. A lot of restaurants with local food (wild pig, mushrooms, a fish from the lake) and cafes with strawberries as a local specialty.

The apartment is very well maintained. It feels totally new. Never met the host, but the communication via messenger was very good and clear. The main bedroom is huge, the bed is very comfortable. Windows are great and there is full light protection, so you can sleep very well. The location is perfect. At the heart of Nemi, next to beautiful shops and restaurants. I strongly recommend this place.

Lovely host who welcomed us at the entrace of the hotel/restaurant. The room was based on an historic building with a small view of the lake. We had dinner at the the joint hotel which was also of great quality. 10/10 experience!

Location is stunning, as advertised. Rooftop terrace and beautiful gardens with plenty of seating. If you don't have a car, it's a strenuous hike up to Nemi - but Just-Eat will deliver ;-).
