The staff were equally remarkable — incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making your stay memorable. Despite the elegance of the setting, there’s nothing pretentious here — just warm, Sardinian hospitality at its finest. And then there’s the food: an absolute highlight. Dinner was such an experience, rooted in tradition but elevated with creativity and care. The ingredients were fresh, seasonal and the flavours rich and authentic . The wine selection was equally impressive, showcasing an incredible range of local Sardinian labels that complemented every dish beautifully. Su Gologone doesn’t just offer luxury — it offers meaning, depth, and connection. It’s a place that stays with you long after you leave. We’re already planning our return, and next time we’re staying longer to soak in every moment of this magical place.

We booked a few days on the countryside, which is a must while visiting the island, and we had our best time there, Alessio is a wonderful host, the place is fantastically well equiped and cosy, decorated with taste and all what you need is available; the pool with view on the mountains is incredible! you stay between olive trees and vineyards, all is so calm!! however close to shops and to a very nice vegetarian restaurant; we regretted we only booked 3 days and had to leave to another place, as this was our best choice! thank you Alessio for your kindness and reactivity, we hope to be back!

The apartment is light, spacious, and beautifully furnished. I wished we stayed more than one night there, it was extremely comfortable. Despite our lack of Italian, the host explained everything very clearly and patiently, with recommendations for the area. It is very nice to discover the inside of the island, and...

It is very nice to discover the inside of the island, and stay more in the mountains; Olinea is a perfect location, as you can still drive to the beach easily if you wish, but stay in a really calm area, with beautiful landscape; close to other things to visite like the Gorropu Canyon, Sorgenti Su Gologone, wine testing, etc; Again our stay at the property Dimora S'Ena Manna was a fantastic base to visit around, or just to relax at the property, depending on the days.

Small town, few tourists.

Small town, few tourists. It felt like we were the only tourists here. Interesting architecture, interesting cafes. Very safe town and kind people. There is a big supermarket. Lots of free parking in the area.

Fantastic location, perfect for hiking and exploring the mountains, the views were stunning, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the pizza and local wine was excellent. The hotel was clean and blissfully quiet! We would highly recommend!

What a way to connect to nature! Don't expect a 5 star hotel AT ALL. You need to be able to handle some dirt to feel comfortable here. I was able to hold a chicken, pet sheep, pet cats and dogs. The pigs escaped and were running around. I was allowed to eat fresh biological grapes and got a watermelon. There are some simple facilities in the tent, like running (drinkable) water, a fridge and gas cooking. The bed as protection against muskito's which is great. All in all an experience I will never forget.

Our host, Marcella, was friendly and accommodating. She went the extra mile to find us a cooking class at a local home restaurant, Mr. Vincenze's home restaurant. The experience was absolutely fantastic. Please, if you are going to Oliena, and if you are interested in cooking, we highly recommend both Marcella's apartment and the cooking class. Be prepared to spend all day!

Beautiful location with fabulous panoramic views from our balcony. Very comfortable room. Excellent well marked hill walking trails all around the hotel. No need to drive. Dinners were very good value & the pizzas were excellent.
