The place is quite over-rated.
The place is quite over-rated. Not clean, hardly any restaurants or supermarkets. Lots of alcohol and drugs on the streets. Not toddler or pram friendly. There are a dozen murals that are nice but not exceptional esp if you compare to a Berlin or Belfast. The old town is not maintained well either.

we stayed at Il Portico two nights and we had a very nice ending of our vacation which we spent in different locations . Orgosolo is a very genuine place you get to feel "real "Sardinia. Lots of history , amazing food and hospitality.

Orgosolo has a good variety of restaurants and is a very authentic hill town. It is worth visiting if you want to base yourself for a few days in the interior mountainous hill towns of Sardinia. It is close to Nuoro, the capital of the municipality, but if you just want to walk to your meals at the end of the day, Orgosolo is a great (and better IMHO) place to stay.

Nice cosy apartment on the main street of Orgosolo, close to all the murals. Very clean and comfortable, perfect for couples. The host was very friendly and welcoming and he keeps the property in a very good state. There is also a coffee machine with capsules and access to a fridge downstairs. Parking was very easy, just in front of the property on the main street or nearby in the main square. Very fair price for the quality offered. Overall it was a very positive experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Wow, the house is amazing, and everything fits the style perfectly. Michella is really sweet and helpful. Breakfast isn't massive, but it's enough.
Orgosolo is a great place to go if you want to see authentic Sardegna.
The streets are narrow, so parking downtown is tough, but Michella told us where to park.

It was a very pleasant stay, the owner of the place was really hospitable, helpful and nice, although he didn't speak English, but we managed to comunicate anyways. Really recommend this place, it's in the Orgosolo city centre, room is comfortable and clean.

We came to Orgosolo by accident. Very interesting time - worth a visit. The flat is right in town, but kind of difficult to find. With the motorbike it was OK, as we found a fellow local biker who took us there.
