It was a dream location in a wonderful & totally authentic Italian Village. The hosts Cristiana, Vincenzo and their beautiful family Eli and Allesandro made us feel so welcome. We very much enjoyed Cristiana’s baking with a new creation delivered every day. The property was fully appointed with everything we needed with fresh fruit and an oven where we made our own pizza. San Donato’s people made us both feel like family. We attended the Catholic Mass on Sunday in the very historic church. The local restaurant run by Fabio and his lovely wife and daughter made us dinner every night and the wine was sensational. Vincenzo spent so much time taking us to so many places of my ancestors from Ciola & San Marino just to name a couple. They are welcome to stay with us in Terrigal Australia anytime such was the friendship and bond created with this amazing family.

Beautiful little village in the mountains of the Emilia-...

Beautiful little village in the mountains of the Emilia-Romagna. Great starting point for hikers, cyclists and motor bikers to explore the area. I would recommend the restaurant and the bar at the main square of Pannabili.

Unfortunately there was bad weather and we could not enjoy...

Unfortunately there was bad weather and we could not enjoy the nice environment so much. We had dinner at "Ristorantica Antica Macelleria Silvano", main square of the village: nice people and excellent place! On the contrary, beware of "Osteria Al Bel Fico", new management.

Very nice region to stay in. Perfect for nice walks. The hotel is managed by the family and they are extremely friendly and helpful with everything you need or want. Simone and his father and mother speak good English and you feel at home from your arrival. Good traditional kitchen. Rooms are also traditional but clean and everything is there. We will certainly come back.

Convenient hotel close to the village centre of beautiful Pennabili. Big rooms. Very comfortable. Friendly staff, very helpful. We could park our motorcycles just in front of the building or in the garage.
