Very clean and friendly staff Very good breakfast with fresh food

I loved staying at Albergo Nella and would come back any time! It's a family-run hotel, operating on the ground floor and 1st floor of a residential block. My room was spacious and clean; so was the bathroom; everything was comfortable and worked. Yes it's a few years old and has a slightly dated appearance; but this is what I appreciated the most: terrazzo floors, solid sanitaryware, things from a time of quality rather than laminated floors and cheap bathroom fittings that you find in other hotels. I received a very warm and friendly welcome, and I also very much enjoyed the breakfast of cereal, yoghurt, cake, and coffee. The location is also unbeatable: about 1-minute walk from the quayside and seafront, and also next to the elevator to go to the old town on the hill.

Staff: 200% — they went above and beyond. Our room was unusual yet very comfortable, split into a living area and a bedroom, and it had a fridge. The location is great; you can walk everywhere in town. It’s a little set back from the sea (no more than a 10-minute walk to the marina, with beaches starting on both sides), but we didn’t mind, since this trip wasn’t about sun loungers. The buffet breakfast was plentiful, the coffee is made fresh, and the dining room/restaurant is beautiful. The property also has a garden and a pool facing the sea/marina; the pool naps in autumn, but the view doesn’t—it’s still a lovely backdrop.

I used the location and the hotel as starting point of several travels between Genova and Nizza and it was a great choice. The hotel is a small boutique hotel run by very communicative and helpful couple. The owners speak German and English in top of Italian and are helpful with their suggestions and views on travel schedules and destinations. Very good choice for breakfast, great cookies handmade by the lady owner every day. The entire hotel incl. room and breakfast area were very clean and in good shape. Whenever we came back late evenings to the hotel, there was always warm water in the shower. The hotel doesn't have air condition. If anyone uses for the night the lack of it could be difficult. By opened windows (shutters play their role against mosquitos) there is a noise from the neighboring highway. A short driving distance to the beach. Both latter were not relevant to me. Very convenient private parking area. I spent at the hotel 5 nights and would definitely repeat the choice while planning next trip to the Ligurian seaside.

Great location, comfortable rooms, a pool and ten minutes to the beach - what more can you ask for. A very friendly receptionist and a very welcoming environment.

Warm welcome, from lovely staff. Really nice room with comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. Large, clean bathroom and a fabulous terrace with sea views. Light breakfast of cereal, croissants and bread, tasty and more than adequate. Great location for both beach and town. Quiet while we were there but I can imagine it can get very busy. We would happily stay here again.

The staff we’re amazing! Right from the beginning, helping us with everything, - reservations with another hotel, restaurant suggestions and emergency care for me! Special mention to Paola, Laura & Gino! Absolute gems, - thank you from the bottom of my heart! - literally ❤️

A filling breakfast - lovely patries. GREAT Pool - loved the music too.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The room was super stylish, spacious, comfortable and had lots of very smart storage solutions. The staff at the hotel was super friendly and everywhere we went -restaurant, pool area, beach - we felt very welcomed and taken care of. We will def make an effort to come here again!

My tip is treat yourself & stay here❣️Exceptional level of service by ALL staff from start to finish - super helpful & friendly from reception ❤️to parking to restaurant to beach lifeguard- made us feel specially welcome 🤗 Restaurant food & experience was first class (& good value) fine dinning- views from room amazing - quiet end of town - was the best we had during our 5 week trip 🇮🇹🇫🇷🇨🇭🇩🇪
