Everything was perfect! We liked our big clean room and cozy balcony where we enjoyed Italian wine with a view on mountains (there is a variety of wines in the restaurant and you can also buy a bottle and take it with you). The restaurant deserves separate mentioning too. The food there was delicious. The staff is also very friendly. It was our first trip to Italy and thanks to this guesthouse we fell in love with Italy!

We loved pretty much everything about this hotel. The location was perfect, with a private, not crowded beach in Lugano Lake, two swimming pools that were perfectly clean and well-prepared for the guests, and great service and food. I think it was also great value for money

First of all, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to David and Tina. You two are the most amazing hosts we have EVER met. You made our entire trip exceptionally special and unforgettable. Staying at your place truly felt like being at home. Not to mention, the room and food were phenomenal, and the service was impeccable, scoring a perfect 100/100. Due to the delays in our flight and train schedules, we only managed to reach Menaggio around midnight. At that hour, taxis and public transportation were unavailable to take us to our accommodation. Thankfully, when we contacted the hotel, they went above and beyond to arrange a ride for us. Upon our arrival, not only did they waive the late check-in fee, but they also kindly offered us drinks, recognizing the exhaustion we felt after the long journey. This experience set a positive tone for our trip, and we sincerely value their assistance. In addition, the breakfast each morning is delectable, and our absolute favorite is their CAPPUCCINO. We got to have dinner at the hotel for two nights in a row, and the experience was just as enjoyable. It’s worth noting that dinner times are consistently bustling at the hotel. We also had the chance to meet some wonderful individuals during our stay, which truly contributed to the homely ambiance. During our last day, David and Tina surprised us with a free ride down to the city centre (their is no public transport on a Sunday). Their thoughtful gesture left us nearly speechless, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done. Without a doubt, if our travels bring us back to Menaggio, we will eagerly return to their establishment. Our heartfelt thanks for making our stay truly exceptional!

The accommodation is a very beautiful house renovated with great care, featuring several apartments located slightly above the tourist center. The location is about 20 minutes on foot from the lake promenade, but situated very quietly. You cannot drive directly to the accommodation, which makes it all the more peaceful as there is no traffic noise. Several public parking spaces are at most 5 minutes away on foot. The accommodation has a beautiful courtyard where you can sit with friends in the evening and enjoy one of the good wines offered by the bistro. In the bistro itself, you can also enjoy small snacks and very good espresso during the day. The breakfast is put together with great care and many organic products and homemade cakes are offered. The Passer team around the owner Alessandro is extremely helpful and has many tips for excursions and restaurants. We had a very nice stay and will definitely come back!

The hotel has a nice historical charm, very clean. The staff is very friendly and so much supportive at all times. A special thank you Sophia and Dimitri for being such helpful and carrying during our stay. We will come back next year. Best regards, Natalya and Reto

It is hard to find a good service in Italy, but here everything was amazing. The room is big and clean. The balcony is huge! The stuff is so helpful and really tries to make your stay the best experience! The food is delicious! We’ve tried the food in local restaurants and it was not as good as in this hotel. Would definitely recommend to stay here. Love it☀️

The location, staff and facilities

A cosy hotel with fairly spacious rooms that have everything you need, including a refrigerator on the shared terrace. Very clean. Breakfasts are sufficient to start the day off right. Amazing cappuccino. The restaurant serves high-quality and delicious Italian cuisine. The staff is friendly and always ready to help with any questions.

Loved it will be back such a nice family great food didn’t leave a stranger. Female solo traveler felt safe.

Everything was great. The staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable. The food was great, and plentiful. The location is amazing with great dog walks in the forest to lookouts over the lake below.
