Beautiful location in near-city countryside. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, that is exactly what you will get. Placed on the hills that surrounds Verona, you will be in in the middle of the vineyards, olive groves, orchards and fields, Property has its own olive grove and is completely surrounded by a fence, and pets are allowed, so it's perfect for the one travelling with a dog. Garden area around the house is well equipped with electric lighting, so you can enjoy long warm evenings outside on the porch. From the southwest side of the property, from the porch, there is a splendid view on the surrounding hills and on the valley. Also, in the backyard there is a roofed area equipped for barbeque, with tables and chairs and electric lighting and water. I have enjoyed the stay very much. I liked that it offers basic necessities, there is no luxuries that you are accustomed to in hotels or modern apartments, but the serenity of the place and closeness of nature will relax your every nerve and muscle if you just let it.

The Villa is extremely beautiful! From the garden to the decoration of the rooms, you see the love for detail. The staff is also extremely friendly and courteous. The Villa is located in a very beautiful village with vineyards all around you. The food was also of very high quality.

Arrived 2 hours early (at 12pm ) for check-in, after long hours travelling. That was no problem for reception as luckily rooms were ready. So we were checked in and in a gorgeous pool by 12.30. Lovely facilities, enjoyed outdoor breakfast, very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Only 20 minutes, max, from Verona, a city that is well deserved a visit. Loved our stay in Hotel La Pergola. Thank you!

A lovely historic property with a courtyard to enjoy a drink before dinner. Excellent food in the restaurant and an extensive wine list that offers choices for every budget. Breakfast was also very good. The bedroom was large and had everything you would need.
