I wasn't expecting much for 1 night, but my single room for 1 was all I needed. The receptionist was very accomodatingl and helped me out with a charger problem. The room was clean, the bed adequate for the night. A good spot from which to visit local Franciscan sanctuaries. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and a supermarket (good for a budget traveller) within easy walking distance. The breakfast included with the room had a reasonable selection of fruit and pastries and coffee made to order.

The staff in the restaurant were extremely accommodating and friendly. We arrived a bit close to closing time but they were very warm and gave us a small complementary dish to start.

PHENOMENAL value for the price - spacious, clean, fully euipped kitchen, quiet, comfortable, and best of all, my hostess - so kind, super helpful! I wanted to stay longer but she had other guests arriving so she spent over an hour on the phone to find me another place in rieti. So appreciate all her effort! I feel like I've made a friend! Rieti is a lovely and lively little city with many ancient sites to visit. An abundance of restaurants with good food and wine. The river runs through the city and makes you want to go for a swim, which is not allowed, unfortunately. There is a great track and field arena with a swimming pool area close by. When we visited the city was very lively with bars, ice cream, music and family strolls filling the main spot of the city, the Romano bridge, Ponte Romano.

Rieti is a relatively small provincial town - 47,000 population. It has a lot to offer anyone who ventures there - which is not a lot of tourists as the public transport communications aren't extensive due to it be completely surrounded by mountains. Unbelievably well-preserved Medieval town walls still stand around much of the town centre, serving to remind of its ancient origins. Yet there is everything you'd want in a modern world. Best bars we found were Brass Monkey and Drunky Duck, both near the main bridge over the river. Best places we ate in are: Carboidrato, a small place next to the town cinema that is brilliantly welcoming and serves really good quality pasta dishes and fried foods at excellent value prices. Closed on Mondays. Favorita: Consistently good food in Piazza Cavour. Pizzeria Hostaria Rugantino: Fabulous thin and crispy pizza base with tasty toppings. Just outside the medieval walls a short walk from the train station

Very nice villa and very reasonable for the price. The hosts are very nice and thoughtful. Good breakfast in the morning. The place was kept clean and huge space to walk around in the room. I will certainly use this villa again in the future!

If you have the misfortune of finding ypurself in reiti the only place you should consider staying is park hotel villa potenziani it is a magnificient stately home outside of reiti with pool and fabulous terraces and gardens. If u drop down into reiti avoid hotel.miramont it is most definitely NOT 4 star its reaching for a 2 star, a hostel would be more comfortable. The shopping is purely to reach into the tourist's pocket, the "designer" labels are suspect and do not buy the so called steve madden originals you will be sorely disappointed, the only good thing in reiti is the road out of it!

Rieti is an underrated gem of a city, small enough to feel very manageable and safe, while still offering many great restaurants and beautiful churches in a lovely natural setting, with the river and the view of the mountains. It would make a great base for exploring the surrounding Sabina region or doing some serious hiking or skiing. Also very convenient for the Franciscan sanctuaries in the surrounding hills.

The hotel is in an 18th century hunting lodge and is therefore in a really interesting building. Many if the original features can still be seen. In mid September it felt like we almost had the hotel to ourselves! Staff were very helpful - we were on bikes and the hotel restaurant was closed on a Monday as were most of the restaurants in town. But they found us a restaurant and a taxi (there’s only one in town!).

Buffet style breakfast was really good with lots of varieties to choose from. Yoghourts, cheeses, cold meats, cereals, White and brown bread. Lots of fruits available. Coffee, teas and juices all available. Hotel is centrally located in the town with many restaurants, bistros, coffee bars nearby. We visited five/six during our weekend stay, and we will come again sometime in the future.

Beautiful, clean, spacious accommodation right in the heart of Rieti. Great location and easy to locate. Very charming, with everything you need and it even has a beautiful terrace with lovely views of the mountains. A great choice for a couple of couples, a small group of friends or a well-behaved family!
