Terni is a wonderful city.

Terni is a wonderful city. In my opinion it's a hidden gem of Italy. It's an easy 1-hour train ride from Rome, and on the way to all the northern Italian cities. Terni Centro has almost no cars, so incredibly walking friendly, full of cafes, gelaterias, and pizza. All, with picture book old Italian architecture. Also, Terni really comes alive after 4pm!

Terni was great as a base.

Terni was great as a base. Good rail connections to Assisi, Spello and Perugia. Nothing much in Terni itself. Try to find accommodation close to railway station. We used taxi to get to Cascata Marmore but there is a bus.

We stayed only one night in Terni!

We stayed only one night in Terni! we received a very warm welcome from Anna and recommendations and assistance with local restaurants for our evening meal. Our apartments were very comfortable and had lovely views over the hills. The residence is right beside Collescipole - beautiful old town which we wandered through the next morning. The Marmone Falls are also well worth a visit. Would highly recommend a stay.

Lovely apartment in the hills of the town of Terni. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful. The bed and pillows were comfy. Kitchen was well set up. Bathroom was spacious. I needed to do some washing and was offered the washing machine on site, which was so convenient. When washing was finished, host delivered it to my room. There was parking outside the door of our apartment. Loved it and would go back.

Fabulous place to stay! Marco and his father were wonderful hosts, so friendly and always available if needed. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything provided and free parking on site. The location is superb - a short walk into the centre of Terni. Breakfast was also excellent, with a great selection offered. We will return on our next visit. Grazie mille.

Everything was amazing, the host, the location with superconti just down stairs and 7 min walkt to the station,. Very comfortable and clean apartment that seems to be cheap for the offered standard. Would definitely recommend and with my next visit in Terni I will be using the same address. Thanks for everything Giorgia
